Nice old style room with a large bathroom. No cafe or restaurant on site but there is food over the street and half a dozen cafes and restaurants in the next block. A 1500m walk downtown however the walk back up the hill is a workout. No on site parking.

I saved half by avoiding the hotels near the Convention Center and walked through Freeway Park to stay here. Despite the various reviews, this hotel exceeded my expectations. Use the washing machines at the hotel across the street. Great coffee at the nearby Corner Cafe. I had breakfast at the hospital cafeteria next door for $4.50. The corner room I... More

The title of the hotel, and room pictures looks like a B&B, right? That's what we thought. However, what this is really is a pretty old hotel in a neighborhood, but directly connected to a hospital and right next to the emergency entrance. So I think it's probably a place where a lot of families of patients reside while their... More

Hi Steve - Thank you for your review. Yes, we are very old and yes we are proud to be part of the Virginia Mason Medical Center campus. My daughter and I stayed at The Inn @ Virginia Mason recently. We had a very enjoyable stay. A few glitches like no wifi, etc. were all taken care of promptly. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was quite lg. It was all very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful, esp. ANdy and Kaleb. Also, customer... More

My husband is having surgery at Swedish Hospital. His sugeons coordinator gave us a list of close hotels. I called Inn at Virginia Mason to get a room. They told me they were affiliated with the Baroness across the street but the Baroness does not have air so I said, " we need air so I will book with you."... More

Good Afternoon Traveler - Thank you for your very constructive feedback. I understand since your review, we have reached out and apologized for our negligence and hopefully corrected inappropriate charges. We are working with our team to ensure that our scripting clearly explains our radiant cooling system vs. using the term air conditioning. It was certainly not our intention to... More

I am a frequent traveler to Seattle, for medical and vacations and I can say this hotel was the worst I stayed in. I understand that it's an older hotel, but the parking situation was ridiculous. With the price it cost to stay at the hotel on top of $20-$24 a day for parking, I was appalled. The housekeeping was... More

We showed up with 3 large bags, a stroller, car seat, and a couple smaller bags. My wife is visibly pregnant and we also have a one year old daughter. No one paid any attention to us as we brought all our stuff in from the street. No one helped us in any way to get all our stuff onto... More

Do not stay at this hotel unless it is absolutely necessary. The only good thing I can say about it is that it was clean. The bed was the most uncomfortable I ever slept on. We ate room service meals bending over a coffee table. But, unfortunately, we had to stay there, and here is the worst part or our... More

Great friendly staff and upgraded to a spacious four poster bedroom on the top ninth floor. Great central location and a quaint hotel with great history. Had a patio on roof for guests to enjoy and free WiFi. Not a five star hotel but clean and quirky and we loved it.
