We stayed at the Virginia Mason hotel while moving our daughter to Seattle and apartment hunting. It was a great place to base out of. It is an old building and thus has the kinds of issues you might expect of an older facility, such as a really, really slow elevator. However, the service was excellent, the room immaculate and... I recently went with my mother to Virginia Mason for some doctor appointments. We stayed at the Inn. Parking was easy although it is pay. The room was bigger than we expected with two queen size beds and a large bathroom. Noise was very minimal. And the hospital cafeteria delivers free room service which was perfect for us, it felt... The Inn at Virgina Mason won't be everyones cup of tea, but our family enjoyed our stay here. It was one of our daughter's favorite establishments on our vacation down the coast to San Francisco. It is an older establishment, but the rooms have a lot of space, plenty for our family of five. Our son didn't enjoy the roll... More

Hi Travelers - Thank you for your review. We are so happy to hear that we were your daughter's favorite hotel on your west coast excursion. Clean, well-appointed and hilly. . .that's us! Just like Rome, Seattle is made up of seven hills: Beacon, Capitol, Denny, Queen Anne, Yesler, Cherry and First Hill (our hill). We look forward to welcoming... More

This is a wonderful area up First Hill, a few blocks for downtown. The rate is surprisingly low and even cheaper if visiting for medical reasons at Virginia Mason, Swedish, and other local hospitals. It is connected to Virgina Mason or a walk of less than 1/2 block away. The staff are equipped to deal with people with medical needs.... More

Pretty good location on top of a hill and right beside the Virginia Mason Hospital. Clean rooms, comfy and basic. Try the room service at awesome prices for down town Seattle and quality of food is pretty tasty. Gratuities are not accepted.. Parking is over priced and hard to find. Pros: good clean rooms, comfy beds, awesome room service, good... More

Facilities were fine. Clean and spacious, firm bed. Elevator small but adequate. Temperature not an issue. Front desk staff were efficient and professional. Price was good. The location is a bit of a hike (uphill) from the downtown core under or over the I-5. Despite the fact that it is proximal to a working hospital, it was extremely quite -... More

OMG, just trying to find this hotel was a challenge. There was road work surrounding it, it was located beside a hospital with the same name. We had to drive around various blocks just to get into the entrance. The ad says .6 K from town centre, would be interesting to note, what exactly is the town centre in Seattle?... More

Staying at the Inn at Virginia Mason was a wonderful experience. My husband and I stayed here at the end of August during our vacation to the Pacific Northwest. The hotel actually upgraded our room due to overbooking, so we stayed in a suite. I thoroughly researched this hotel prior to arrival, and these are the responses I have to... More

Working at the Virginia Mason Medical Center, i booked this hotel. It proved to be extremely convenient, as it is directly connected to the hospital and I didn't need to go outside at all. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the rooms are spacious, clean and well supplied. The hotel is dated, however, and the bathroom VERY small. There... More

I highly suggest to anyone that wants to stay at a hotel and not a motel to NOT stay here. The building has that old musty smell and needs a serious renovation. The restaurant was closed for "renovations" and there is only one ice machine on the lobby floor. The hotel rooms are super old and do not have a... More
