The Ace Hotel is an old converted building and has many rooms that share a bathroom. We stayed in what they describe as a deluxe room (room 121) and it had it's own bathroom. We had a view of the sound which was probably it's best feature along with the afternoon sun that streamed through the large window. The room... More

I hate to criticize the Ace Hotel. It made possible an affordable stay in Seattle in a great location. There are wonderful restaurants and shops very close. It's across the street from the amazing Macrina Bakery and a short walk to Pike Place Market. All the great things about the hotel have little to do with the hotel. The room... More

Funky is the first word that comes to mind when we arrived. Compared to the other hotels we had stayed in the past 2 weeks it was great to try something different. We chose a hotel room with our own private bathroom. Corner room with plenty of space. Clean and sharp, well presented. Breakfast was a help yourself station, the... More

We really enjoyed the Ace in Seattle. The room was very comfortable especially the bed..so comfy! and it had nice views over the sea. Really enjoyed all the products in the bathroom too. The interior design is really nice and lives up to its "cool" expectations. We enjoyed the breakfasts. The location was perfect, really close by to the Market,... More

This was OK with me for a one night stop-over, not so popular with my wife! Its a trendy hotel and if you accept that its fine. Very little space to hang stuff (no wardrobe) and if you stayed a week you'd pretty much have live out of your suitcase. Well positioned for Pike Place Market and the Piers (we... More

Great location, very near (but not overly near!) the Pike Market and the Art Museum, transportation. Loved the room, the people and everything about this place. Comfy rooms, comfy beds. Great wifi and wonderful breakfast and breakfast room! Never a wait for a bathroom or a shower in the "shared bathrooms" rooms. Laundry room downstairs, too. The hotel is on... More

The basement of this hotel is notable for a self-serve laundry machine, dryer, some waffle makers and plenty of jam. Breakfast is cozy and there's free juice and accoutrements to go with the waffles (that you can make). The shared bathroom situation worked out well because there are plenty of showers, all of which were private and had a toilet.... More

The Ace in Seattle is a fine place to relax, see the Space Needle, Pikes Market and allow a quick walk to Pier 66 for our cruise to Alaska. The weather was excellent which was a nice perk in mid-August. This is not a luxury hotel, but fully comfortable and well suited for a nice vacation. We were very pleased... More

4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2014 via mobile

I recently just stayed at the Ace and my experience was pretty good. The staff was great and very welcoming. It is definitely a boutique hotel and more than I wanted to spend for the three nights that I was in Seattle but the location was great. As I'm sure most of the other reviews have said the location of... More

5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2014

Spent 3 nights in June here and was very impressed. It's basically a boutique hostel and has really helpful and polite staff. Location is good, walking distance from the Space Needle and the centre of town. Convenience stores, bars and restaurants are all easily accessible. Only thing to note is that rooms (at least mine), whilst being comfy and having... More
