I loved the Ace Hotel, and I'm happy that I decided to 'splurge' and come here in between hostel stays in Seattle. The first things I noticed was the pine-tree-esque smell that inhabited every space in the hotel. I LOVED it. I loved the amenities offered: Wifi, breakfast (waffles, fresh fruit, PB, jam, yogurt), bath robe, and their version of... More

If you are considering a visit to Seattle and if you prefer real and authentic more than chain hotel luxury, you'll love Ace Hotel. Located in the heart of the Belltown (downtown), you can put away the car keys and walk to some of Seattle's best and most interesting restaurants, nightclubs, pubs & shops and the amazing Seattle Art Museum.... This is one of my very favorite hotels. Booking.com brought cost, which includes generous continental breakfast, just under $100/night. The staff is among the friendliest and most helpful. The hotel redone in 1998 with wonderful input by smart design team. Showers down the hall are plentiful and in large anti-claustrophobic rooms: ten or twelve foot ceilings, all tile, tall curtain,... This is the most talked about issue regarding the Ace- the shared bathrooms are totally cool. If you are a princess or drama queen, this is not the hotel for you. The Ace offers modestly furnished rooms, with a modern feel and amenities for travelers who want to avoid disgusting, tasteless and tacky chain hotels whenever possible. We opted for... More

My husband and I stayed at the Ace the first weekend in January while we were in town celebrating his birthday and were so happy with our experience. The rooms are adorable, clean bathrooms and showers, no loud noises despite being on a busy street! And the breakfast was perfect every morning. All the little details really made our trip... More

I journeyed to Seattle last summer, then my sons joined me with their families and we cruised to Alaska. Had a terrific time. Seattle is a spectacular city with abundant sites, great people, awesome museums, eateries....This town has spirit! Seattle is an exciting, creative town. Pike Place is one of the greatest attractions I've ever seen. The Metropolitan Grill has... More

Had a great time staying here with my boyfriend over NYE for 2 nights. We were greeted with some beers in a basket in our room because it was our anniversary! We got the standard room with shared bathrooms (which wasn't a big deal at all because they are so close to your room). Each bathroom has a toilet and... More

This hotel would be passable if you've never been to another Ace Hotel. We stayed at the Ace in New York and very much enjoyed it. This is like a hostel in comparison. Also, it was more expensive than both a Sheraton and a Kimpton that I stayed at in Seattle in the same week, but much tinier, and nowhere... More

My friend and I loved our stay at Ace, and if you're walking around the city it's in a great spot. The room was unique and the shared bathrooms were always clean - you never had to queue as there are more than enough bathrooms. The breakfast was great, we had waffles and coffee every morning before we went exploring,... More

My first visit to the USA. Was there for a conference. On the plus side: Chilled out place with even more chilled out staff. Great location, close to the waterfront, so can smell the sea and hear sea gulls. Walking distance to most tourist sites. Free Stumptown coffee and Stash tea. Nice waffles for breakfast. Free ear plugs as most... More
