In theory we should not have liked this hotel so much with its lack of air-conditioning, the shared bathrooms & the busy junction but we both really really liked it. There are lots of quirky little touches to like that make this Ace hotel different but the ones that count the most are :- -the decent choices at breakfast, nothing... More

found this hotel on trip advisor and read many reviews so I knew what to expect. Stayed here a few nights before our cruise. Got to the hotel after midnight (plane delays) and the night clerk helped us up the stairs with the luggage (you must walk up a flight of stairs to the hotel and no elevator). we had... More

I became very ill when I stayed in this hotel. I was told (once I had already registered and spent the first miserable night) that other guests had contracted a nasty bug. For the three nights and days I resided at the hotel I had chills, fever, coughing and muscle aches. The room was stuffy so I had difficulty breathing.... More

This hotel/hostel is great! Very clean, reception staff is lovely. The breakfast in the morning was a great surprise! My only complaint was we needed a toothbrush and toothpaste. That costed us $10 for a small tube and a crappy toothbrush. But with saying that as long as you don't forget your toothbrush you'll be well taken care of. The... More

I stayed at the Ace for 3 nights during my trip, The location is great, walking distance to Pink Place Market, shopping center, art gallery and Space Needle as well as lots of restaurants and bars close by. I arrived by Amtrack and a cab from the station to the hotel was about $10, to get to the airport a... More

We knew this was a boutique hotel with shared bathrooms, but we did not know that there was no air and no elevator. The air conditioning might not matter most of the time, but it was in the 90's the night we were there and it was very uncomfortable. We had to leave the door ajar to be able to... More

Stayed here one night when passing though Seattle. Great location, beautiful hotel and friendly staff. The rooms, including the bathrooms, are quirky and so wonderful! I had a room with a shared bathroom. The bathrooms are well kept, clean and there were no issues with availability. Would thoroughly recommend. The staff were attentive and friendly. Had to knock off a... More

Location - good - walking distance to many tourist spots including Space Needle, Pike Place Market, museums, restaurants, shops, etc. Several homeless folks in neighborhood, but it still seemed like a "safe" neighborhood if you're traveling in pairs. Room - What we loved was the mattress was comfortable, the room was spotless, the decor was funky but awesome, the window... More

We arrived a little earlier than expected and the staff were very accommodating and gave us another room which was ready. Found that the hotel was in a great location in Belltown with plenty of restaurants/bars in the neighbourhood. Very close to Pike Place Market and the Space Needle and museums. We opted for shared bathrooms which were very clean... More

We chose to stay here because it was considerably cheaper than other hotels yet still had good reviews. The lobby desk is on the second floor and there is no elevator, but the staff is willing to carry your luggage up the stairs. Parking on the street is free after 8:00pm, but you will have to pay for parking during... More
