No ice... broken No tv to watch football games Clean room just old Tiny bathroom But the beds are comfortable and the staff was friendly to us. Recommend for the one nighter after a seahawk game, just for sleeping.

My Boyfriend and I had a weird 20 hour layover in Seattle so we decided to get a place downtown to be central to the attractions. Since we where arriving late and just looking for a bed we chose the "Hotel Seattle" because it was affordable and central. Walking in at 12AM ... the place was clearly a dump, outdated,... More

This hotel is located right in the middle of everything in Seattle. Lots of bars, nightlife located nearby. Museums, the space needle are within a couple miles away. Hotel was average overall, an older building with reasonable prices for the rooms. Location was mainly what I was looking for and it was the best I found in a moderate price... More

Location is the only good thing to say about the hotel. We found the bed to be clean and as we were out all day exploring did not have to spend much time in the room. It is within walking distance of Pike Place and good restaurants and in a safe area. Very old and worn but still a low... More

This hotel is 100 years old and it sure shows it's age. The elevator doesn't have proper lighting and is extremely sketchy, the hallways don't have proper lighting and they have that scary flicker you see in movies. Our room had (what looked like) feces stains on the sheets and pillow cases. When we asked for clean sheets, they didn't... More

We knew the place had a history before we arrived, which helped a great deal. The staff were very friendly, allowing us to check bags with him before official "check-in" time. The late night guy even went down to the restaurant/bar to get us two ginger ales when we found the soda machine didn't work. The cleaning crew are very... More

Yeah so this hotel is downtown and that's about the only good thing I can say about it. Moldy carpet, no internet, flimsy doors, no screens on windows, hair in bed, creepy employees, and needs major renovation work. Stay away, far away.

Great downtown location. Very old with a need for some investment in the building, furnishings, carpet - everything. Have stayed here before because it is low priced and very convenient to where I need to be. Would not suggest it for a family with children or more than a 2 day visit. The shower is an adventure - the water... More

We wanted a low cost hotel in walking distance of downtown and Pikes Market and hotel Seattle was the only one to fit the bill. From the reviews we knew it was run down, but all we wanted was a clean bed.

This is an old hotel that has been well taken care of. It's location is right in the thick of things, so you're within walking distance of many things to see in Seattle. The bus and trolley stops are right around the corner too. The staff was the best - so friendly and most helpful. However, if you're handicapped it... More
