Everything was grand!!! My first time to take my Bandit to the city, she and I LOVED it!! Everyone was so nice, she got a bed and treats in our room. She is a very special 3 year old Papillon. Her and I got to wear our fur coats as it snowed during our stay. She got to meet alot... More

Valet parking fee is $40 for the stay with no other options for parking available close by. Maybe reasonable for downtown Seattle but kinda pricey for a one night stay. Got a kick ut do the complimentary pet goldfish. That was a first! More

To be frank, I am a Kimpton girl through and through. Some properties, however, are better than others. This one is a keeper, primarily due to the exceptional service provided by a wonderful group of people including Jordan, Eric, Rob, Mario and Alec. I was accompanied by a few friends on this trip to Seattle, and they had never stayed... More

perfect location in downtown seattle walking dostance to dining , shopping , pretty much any thing in DT . Rooms are very dated , reletively small bathrooms and paper thin walls. could hear when the room next door using their bathroom ! free Coffe in the lobby early in the morning ( 6 to 8 ) was a nice touch.... right in the heart of the city and close to everything, but wait! those dated rooms are being renovated as we speak. Interestingly we have legions of people who are upset over the change out of the rooms, as they have been part of the Monaco for a few years but hardly seem dated. Hope you will come back and... My ho-hum experience here started with the chilly reception we received from the night clerk. You know the kind--they look you up and down, decide you are not worthy, and act like checking you in is a big favor. Normally, I could care less, but we'd just arrived from a long train journey, it was dark and rainy out, we... More

I am so sorry that the kids program I put together with my own children didnt register with you and your 7 year old. Naturally there isnt any excuse for anything other than a warm and engaging welcome at the desk upon your arrival and I thank you for bringing that to my attention. Seems we missed the mark with... My wife & I stayed at the Hotel Monaco for New Year's Eve. As with all other Kimptons, the staff was super helpful and the property spotless. Nobody does it better! More

The Monaco is slightly quirky as is the case with many of the hotels in the Kimpton group - but it's good quirky! If you're looking for a hotel that has bags of character and doesn't feel like a generic beige property trying to be a boutique hotel, then this is the hotel for you. There are many nice touches:... We like quirky! thanks for this, our goal is to be a hotel that isnt one of those cookie cutters, we have goldfish available, welcome pets and play trivial pursuit for suite upgrades, my goal is to have you leave with a smile on your face and remembering your stay with us instead of one of those beige hotels! I travel for business a lot, and the Monaco in Seattle was the best hotel experience I've had in a long time. The decor is funky and charming, and really sets a chic mood in the hotel, and the staff was super-friendly, hip, and welcoming. I was in town for a conference at the convention center, and the hotel was... More

yes, they are a friendly group out there! thanks so much. sorry that we had to move you but some guests forget that all that noise that seems so charming and normal at home, isnt that enjoyable in a hotel. appreciate your understanding. More

On a recent business trip to Seattle I encountered one of the worst "hotel" experiences. Not only did I get food poisoning from eating breakfast at the Sazerac restaurant (restaurant at Hotel Monaco) but I had to extend my stay an extra day (cause I was so sick) and the hotel didn't even comp the extra night ($140) or the... Naturally we are very sorry to read that you were ill while at the hotel, but lets clarify a few things for the readers, you claimed you were ill immediately after after eating bacon and eggs in the restaurant. The 2 managers you spoke to explained as any Dr. would that food poisoning takes several hours to cause the type... More

This hotel absolutely blew me away! Everyone is exremely friendly and helpful. The rooms had very nice decor and the beds were so comfy! Also, the Monaco is perfectlly located, a 3 minute walk to Pikes Place and around 4 minute walk to the convention centre. Can't wait to go back! More
