Room was good and very clean, breakfast was good. Thought it was little over priced but we had just landed from long flight and driven from CDG, first place we see in Provins Located pretty close to all you need to see.

I was a big fan of the Ibis chain until they decided to try and squeeze more from the market by down-grading their worse units to Ibis Budget and by up-pricing their more popular units. This unit was perfectly situated for me as I headed across France to the French port of St Malo from Switzerland. An older unit with... More

We arrived by train on Pentecost Monday, no transport at station so a very long uphill walk. We were met by the closed hotel restaurant so no dinner that night and there were no restaurants nearby.Breakfast next morning was a very poor affair, no fruit and poor service. Breakfast improved the next day. There was an SNCF and taxi strike... More

Typical Ibis as we expected but the location was a disappointment. It is about a mile from the centre but uphill . The walk takes you up hill on a main road then down a track to the hotel which is not well lit ... not to be recommended in the pouring rain The room was usual Ibis bathroom Ok... More

I would award zero stars if that was possible. Very basic hotel with minimal comforts and no air conditioning. Toilet wouldn't flush at all until desk clerk manipulated some valves in a hall closet. Comforter was dirty and ugly to sleep under (there was no top sheet to protect it). Breakfast was surprisingly good -- except the room card praising... More

Provins is a beautiful town, worthwhile visiting. The IBIS hotel is not expensive, and that shows. Room are small (a bit smelly), clean and breakfast is good. Receptionist is polite. Good for a short stay and only stay overnight. Cannot recommend for a longer stay. We left the car on the parking lot of the hotel and walked into town... More

We booked via the Ibis website and opted for the summer-saver room deal, with breakfast. On check-in, despite the hotel not being full, we were assigned cramped top floor rooms which were a) very hot and b) suffered from creaking floorboards.. Due to the heat, we did not sleep well. Breakfast was some compensation and thoroughly enjoyed by us all.
