We stayed at this B&B in 2011 and again in September 2015 for three nights and both times in the same room called the "Alice" We missed "Alice" on both occasions!!! The room was spacious and had a separate enclosed balcony and even though it overlooked the Main Street we were not kept awake by any noise at night. The... More

We stayed at the Skagway Inn towards the end of the season. We chose this accommodation, mainly because of management's responses to comments made on Trip Advisor. The accommodation is themed to the gold rush period and appears quite consistent to the era. Location is quite central to downtown Skagway, service was quite good and breakfast was very good. Except... More

This hotel is nicely situated on the main street of town but there is no off-street parking and there are restrictions on the roads immediately outside. However, we found no difficulty in parking on the side road. This is an interesting old building being a former brothel in goldrush times and all the rooms are named after the "ladies of... More

We stayed here a night before and two nights after hiking the Chilkoot. It was ideal. They arranged our train tickets, dropped us off at the trailhead, and gave us bear spray to bring along (all for no extra cost). Breakfast is excellent (serve more pieces of bacon!), which makes for a nice last meal in town before you head... More

We appreciated being met off the ferry and taken to the train next day. All the staff were friendly and helpful - they went to the trouble of serving an early breakfast so we could eat before catching the train. Our room was comfortable and decorated in keeping with the historic theme.

We had a lovely stay in the comfortable and quiet Historic Skagway Inn. The mattresses and bedding were excellent, as was the service. It was a bit warm when the sun was shining directly into the room (some blinds might help), but the rooms were nicely appointed. The owner was very hospitable, and offered to pick us up and drop... First off we asked for some help before even selecting your Inn and were treated with care. Then when it became apparent your hotel was slightly too rich for my budget your staff was able to assist me in a savings and an upgrade. Excellent. Clean, pleasant surroundings and great care the next day over breakfast and lunch. I took... More

We had a room by the back alley it was hot! noisy! And super small!! The view of building next to us was not the garden. Breakfast was not great and always out of coffee and sugar. We stayed at the Historic Skagway Inn before and after our 5-day hike of the Chilkoot Trail. The hotel and its service/amenities were awesome! We were picked up at the airport by the hotel and driven to the beautiful Inn, ideally located in the heat of Skagway. The hotel is a well-kept, extremely comfortable historic building on Skagway's main street.... More

We ate here and had King crab with the halibut chowder. It was all fantastic. It was quiet, friendly lunch spot. The staff was very friendly and told us a lot about their life in Alaska. They had a beautiful garden and very clean dining room. My favorite eating spot on our honeymoon!
