As mentioned by others, office is extremely cluttered, with dog(s) laying about and occasional family or staff milling about. This didn't bother us, but could put some off. The owner was friendly enough, but several other staff we encountered were oddly disinterested and tended to look away rather than make eye contact. We arrived late on the Alaska ferry and despite the front desk area (much like the owner's living room) we found our room to be clean and comfortable. It was reasonably priced and the staff were very helpful. more

Three of us stayed at the facility in July and found it clean ,quiet and roomy enough to accomodate our needs. I made the reservation back in April which was certainly a good idea as the traffic through Skagway loads up early. No problem with the staff. They were friendly and helped with info about the area.
