My rating for this is somewhere between "average" and "good". Like some other reviewers I found the hosts a little distant but on the whole its a decent enough place to stay. The historic house is located centrally and easily accessed to the ferry. Our host Jan & her team were most helpful. The breakfast was quite adequate and we have no qualms about recomending to our friends. Jules & jenny T New Zealand more
I expected more from a B&B. This one has very cold owners running it. Nothing is really done to make you feel welcome, cold effieciency! It is clean and the room was nice. but I would not stay again. I enjoyed a very nice night here, small B&B, very homey. They had a very tasty breakfast in the morning, I really enjoyed the homemade muffins that I was smelling from my room. The B&B is at the edge of downtown. You'll still be extremely close to downtown and can easily avoid the cruise ship tourists if you need to. We had a wonderful time and loved the owners. They had new private bathrooms. The hand made Quilts, decorations, and Antiques made it very homey. They had an extensive selection of books on the local history of Skagway and the White House. The food was good. I would definitely stay there again. more
