Eaven that the Hotel is close to the train station, it is verry quiet. Private PP for cars. The cuisine ist formidable (we had halve pension). Reasonable Price. Tournai is between Macon and Dijon, on the River Saône. Verry good situated for trips in the country (Cluny). Interresting Museum in town and cathedral.

Hotel was a bit old fashioned, clean and comfy bed. Near railway station, but well sound proofed so no problem with noise. Needs a shower hook and curtain in the bathroom as its difficult holding shower whilst washing. Restaurant was superb, a small complimentary creamy cauliflower soup then snails in red wine, next tandour pintade with ble and puree and... More

Having stayed previously at Tournus we like the town. We wanted to try another hotel so booked Le Terminus. We had travelled from Spain, about 745 miles and we greeted in a fashion. We went to the room and there was no air conditioning working, and it was hot. We had the windows open all night because we were told... More

Conveniently situated on the main thorough fare through Tournus. Good. Sized rooms, with clean bathroom, very comfortable bed. Dinner was excellent, well presented and very tasty. Breakfast a little over priced but that us French hotels! €6 for parking.

Upon arriving at the hotel, the miserable and rude receptionist said she had no record of our booking, despite me showing her copies of e- mails sent and received. We were then told, we could only stay if we booked dinner in the hotel restaurant, as we like to have a choice we said we would eat else where, we... More

When we travel through France we often use the guide from "Logis en France" seldom are we disappointed. So when we saw that Hotel Terminus had 2 "fireplace" symbols (3 is the maximum, and 2 stands for "good quality", and even 3 "pot" symbols (standing for gastronomic food and meticulous service) we became interested. After checking their website, with nice... More

This experience was the worst of my life (by far) regarding the hotel. The boss is haughty, unpleasant and seems not to love the customers. But why does she make this job ? Furthermore, rooms don't look like what is presented on the website and this hotel should never be a 3 stars ! I cannot speak about the restaurant... More

This Hotel has obviously had a glorious past, yet is overdue for a "Makeover" in parts. The receptionist was very stressed when we arrived and although we requested a non smoking room told us that we must not smoke in it, then repeated it just to be sure, so "Smokers Beware"! It was worth struggling past the not so warm... More

First stayed here 40 years ago.Wonderful wine as it is in the best area. Used to be a massive automaton music machine in the dining room. There is a special night in France when they celebrate the Lily of the valley flower and a young girl sold us a bunch for one franc. My wife has now passed on but I... More
