We stayed at this hotel for two nights in July. If you are looking for five star luxury (eg with safe, mini-bar, Italian shower, etc) or a corporate experience, this is not the place to come. The building is a charming art deco property. The owners are clearly trying to preserve the architecture of the building and therefore modifications are... More

The hotel isn't the easiest to find tucked away up the hill between Chamalieres and Royat but there is good parking. The room was a bit of a nightmare, with a heavy metal entrance door and a shower head almost 2.5 meters off the floor it wasn't female friendly. There were no shelves or drawers and two very uncomfortable chairs,... More

Dear Sir, we deeply regret that you did not give the number of your room! We regret your comment, really. Your room however had air conditioning, room n°28. The shower head can not be at 2,5 meters... However, we are sorry for not being able to give you satisfaction including the level of our breakfast. Yet we try to offer... More

Not that easy to find - we stayed one night after visiting Puy de Dome - but when you do what a place! Wish we'd been able to stay longer. Art Deco architecture and one of the best restaurant meals ever. We had the Menu of the Month and it was worth every penny. Restaurant has a lovely atmosphere -... More

Unique hotel, some lovely art deco stuff and some dodgier pieces - a folding Jack Vetriano screen and a translucent polar bear with LEDs? But the staff, especially the two ladies who run it, are charming and service is excellent. The room was a decent size, older style but elegant and relaxing. Lovely bathroom with what looked like original white... More

This hotel is a little out of the way, but worth a detour for its Michelin-starred restaurant. The rooms vary - some have been renovated to a contemporary three-star standard, while others have an almost boarding-house feel. Which type you get depends on fairly opaque criteria, but overall the lodging isn't up to the standard of the food. I've eaten... More

We found this place by chance after a long days drive. The building was originally built as an art deco radio station which has been transformed into a small hotel and restaurant whilst retaining the art deco period features and theme through out. The restaurant is truly amazing, if you want steak and chips or a burger you are at... More

Lovely hotel with good parking, love,y beds, unusual art deco rooms and an amazing resturant. Very good value for money and the best cheese board that I've had in 20years of traveling in France. Highly recommended.

I staid twice in this hotel over a short period of time. The second time was somewhat disappointing as the room was rather dull and plain compared to the first stay. Request one of the renovated rooms to enjoy the atmosphere that welcomes you once you enter the hallway and adjacent public areas (bar, restaurant) in the hotel. Although we... More

My wife and I spent 6 days at this hotel in August. The room was confortable and views appealing. The wireless was fine. But the main point is the staff. They were the perfect hosts. Gracious. Attentive. Friendly. Made us feel perfectly at home. The hotel is in a residential area nice to walk through, and near a park, spas... More

A great find for an overnight stop. A wonderful Art Deco hotel, beautifully looked after. The rooms are very comfortable with views out over the city.We had a very friendly welcome and a lovely room. The food was amazing, not cheap but well worth the money. We tried the Menu Degustation and it was wonderful. Food that would grace any... More
