Skovshoved hotel is a small hotel situated in an upmarket residential part of Copenhagen. The hotel looks very picturesque and we had hoped for a relaxed stay. However, our double room with two 90 cm beds at the front, above the main entrance, had a nice sea-view, but no air conditioning. The size was 14m2, so to pay 1 600... More

Skovshoved Hotel is one of those gems of days gone by and located in what used to be a small fishing village . It is a family owned hotel with 22 rooms and a place to stimulate all your senses . It is like a large and very livable home and not trying to be perfect . I love waking... More

A pleasant inn with a great restaurant and even the occasional lively weekend bar! This is not a modern 5 star hotel, but a welcoming small hotel with some of the most gracious staff I've ever met in a hotel. The rooms are warm and the beds comfy. Flickering candles creating a relaxed mood throughout the hotel. No marble tubs... More

Shovshoved Hotel is an historic inn located on the Sound a few miles north of Copenhagen. The interior of the hotel has been updated extensively. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Downstairs, the common areas are attractive and well decorated. The reception personnel are knowledgeable and helpful. The hotel's restaurant serves excellent food that draws diners from around Copenhagen.... More

Beautiful hotel with lovely atmosphere, charming staff, delicious breakfast and supper. New nordic cuisine does not generally cater for vegetarians but kitchen happily made up something especially when asked.

Hotel located out of town, convenient for DTU, nice setting close to the sea. The breakfast and breakfast room are great. On the con side: small room and bathroom, lack of air-conditioner (although this might be useful just a few days per year), parking at night can be complicated due to people going to the restaurant filling the hotel parking.

I was here in April. Wonderful stay, despite I checked in before 22:00 on a weekday and the Restaurant was already closed. You come to Skovshoved Hotel if you fancy atmosphere, old charm, specific danish old and new design. To be considered is the possibility of seaside walks -this coast is a jewl on its own. You may visit Copenhagen... More

...in a sleepy country town, outside Copenhagen. Skovhoved Hotel is a little bit warned out but quite charming. My room had a big comforte twin bed, sitting area, wide screen tv and balcony with ocean view. Didn´t have breakfast but tried one of the two restaurants and my meal was great. Staff correct. I can recomend it if you want... More

Spent a night here as a romantic getaway. The hotel is very close to Copenhagen with bus services to the door from Kongens Nytorv, from where you can catch the metro to the airport. It took us only 40 minutes to ride there on our bicycles from the central station in Copenhagen. The room (11) was charming in an 'good... More

We booked this hotel ten months before our trip as we were determined to have a room with a balcony and sea view. Other reviewers have complained about the dual carriageway between the hotel and the sea but we found it very quiet at night even with the windows open. When we arrived the hotel was full of wedding guests... More
