We camped on the beach at Millers Landing for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. We took their charter fishing trip and had a great time, rented kayaks and the kids were out all evening. The campsite was primitive but right on the beach with a great view of Seward. We also had a great time at their poker... More

I really enjoy Millers Landing. I've been coming religiously for 11 years. It is about 2 miles out of town and the dirt road can get pot holes, but that's ok by me. It keeps the masses away. When I go to Alaska, I want to be around nature. While downtown Seward RV parking is more convenient to restaurants, shops... More

Miller's Landing is at the far end of town, so expect a bumpy dirt road where you pass a waterfall up close, then you go through a wooded camp area and finally end up at the water. The trips are very organized and they brief you about safety and the plan. The guide would stop anytime we wanted to get... More

We had a wonderful time with an entire day of fishing for multi species with Chance and his mate who assisted. We caught our limit on more than one species. Chance is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in guiding. A lot of the fun was in the fact he can take a good ribbing as well as he gives. Two days... More

Took a guided kayak tour to Tonsina beach and back. My first time in a kayak and the guide was patient and helpful. A small group meant we could set our own pace and explore the beach as we wanted. The guide was knowledgeable about the area and friendly. He even let us stop for a photo shoot in the... More

It's my second time to Miller's Landing. Traveling alone to AK this time demanded some courage, as I had to organize (and pay) it all by myself. I looked for a stay in Seward downtown, where we stayed last year and couldn't find any place. July is really peak season here! The backpackers house I stayed at Miller's Landing was... More

Site was right on the beach. Awesome critters found with my young boys. Near excellent hiking. Price was spendy, and everything was an additional cost. Showers, dump site, fill up. Electric was the only thing not locked or an extra charge. Perhaps an AK resident discount would be nice! We had a man cuss at us for "taking his view"... More

Stayed there for three nights and enjoyed the beautiful nature around Seward. The place is located just perfect. Don't have a pejudice against the road leading there!! Yet there are a few downers. The owners seem to be too busy with the fishing trips they offer and should definitly give the bathrooms a little more attention. Over the weekend the... More

Visiting from across the country with boy scout troop (all over 14yrs old). Site was unsuitable for camping (big rocks, sloped ground, roots). The group right in the middle of the campground. Management SEVERELY lacked! Stay was 3 nights and had to deal with drunks every night. Because of the lack in management, one of our adult leaders asked on... More

We appreciate you taking the time to post a review, and we're very sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us. We take this complaint extremely seriously. We did ask the other guest about the altercation, and he gave quite a different story. We do enforce our quiet-time hours, we do ask belligerent guests to leave, but if a complaint... More

- Bathrooms are nasty and filthy - Everything (bathrooms, washing machines etc) is token operated and they were out of tokens - Since they didn't have new tokens to buy I asked for a 1$ refund on the single and unless token I had from a previous night (I needed a minimum of 3) and they said no! no refund...
