We stayed two nights in the backpackers room. Two double beds and an electric fire place. 2 min walk to washrooms. My girlfriend and I loved it! Very rustic! Pure Alaska! Us 2 girls had a great time. We did a kayak trip with a guide and walked up a stream of sporning samon! Magic! It has got to be... More

I have stayed at Millers Landing on a few occasions when visiting Seward. My experience has always been positive. Millers has not lost it's "old Alaskan" charm despite increasing business through the years. I have stayed in the RV park a few times( usually prefer the trees for more privacy and protection from wind) but have also used the water... More

At first, we liked the fact that there were trees and somewhat more of a real camping experience compared to the campgrounds downtown. Sites are close together so do not expect much privacy. Sites are not cleaned up after others leave and there are some inconsiderate campers who leave their crap in the firepits. BUT the worst part is when... More

My dad, my husband and I stayed at Miller's Landing for a few nights while we went on a fishing charter. Our cabin was the Crow's Nest - the cabin was very cozy with a GREAT view. The cabin itself can sleep up to 9 people in bunks (there are three bunks with a full sized bed on the bottom,... More

We stayed here for one night in our RV. The bathrooms and showers were not the cleanest. The sites were terribly close together though we did get one on the water. The staff in the store/office were very friendly. We also did a 4 hour kayak tour to Bridal Veil falls. It was a nice kayak trip but a little... More

The descriptions provided by Miller's Landing of their "beachfront cottage" neglected to mention the environment captured in the images below, which shows the "cottage", standing alone in a parking lot of RV's next to a store and boat landing ramp. The images in turn fail to capture the true auditory ambiance which this short video I took and posted to... More

The website show a beautiful place when we got there it was dirty the bathroom did not work and they smell. The site for tents where not like showed on the web site. The only thing it had going for them is the bay was beautiful. The staff was rude we could not find are site and they told us... More

Staff is very good -however the amenities are untenable - the fishing boats and catch are much better in Seward harbor 3 miles away. For example Safari Charters goes 2.5 hours out to sea for large halibut, snapper and ling cod and Millers Landing charges the same for fishing 30 minutes out in the bay - smaller fish and few halibut.,... View from our campsite on the the bay was great, but sites are close together. Looks like there are some nice wooded sites too. Bathrooms dirty and one stall was out of order the entire time. Laundry very expensive compared to other Alaska campgrounds we've been to. Laundry room also dirty and busy. 1 washer was out of commission, it... More

Miller's landing was the last stop on our 10 day backpacking/camping adventure. On our way back from Denali we decided to change our plans from camping in Homer to Seward. Upon a recommendation from a camping book, we stumbled upon Miller's landing. The environment is rustic, perfect for campers! We were part of a fishing charter that was entertaining and... More
