Let me start my review with the "heaven" aspect of Miller's Landing: the view. We stayed here for 3 nights and parked our RV in an ocean front spot - 20 feet from the beautiful shore. The beauty of the waves, boats, sea otters, and jumping silver salmon was incredible. The ability to sit in front of a fire and... More

Had booked the top of the line cabin 6 months before we had scheduled a fishing charter from Miller's. Now I want to make sure readers understand that I wasn't raised in the Ritz. I spent 30 years in the infantry so I know a bit about "camping." Miller's was the dirtiest unkempt camping site I have ever experienced. I... More

Last week we spent half a day on a fishing trip with JR and his wife. We went to a lonely spot where there were no other fisher man/women. JR gave me & my husband instructions & we got to try ourselves. & we caught some salmon! JR is a good teacher. Also he is patient, easygoing and helpful. We... More

My first and favorite spot in Alaska for 10 years is Miller's Landing. About 2 miles outside of town on Lowell Point. About 15 RV sites right on Resurrection Bay. Convenient hike, kayak or water taxi to Caine's Head, Tonsina Beach, Fox Island etc. Check photo below, Ailic Glacier. Not as Convenient when you want to go downtown Seward but... More

We camped for two nights here and booked a chartered fishing/sightseeing trip for a full day. The campgrounds were just OK. Very close together but everyone kept to themselves and we had no problems. We loved the couple of dogs that are "locals", who stopped to visit from time to time. The staff in the front office were very nice... More

This review is more of a buyer beware for future customers than a complaint. Millers runs a loop water taxi servicing the Resurrection Bay area. Going out, we had the big boat as we were picking up or dropping off 3 groups. The big boat seats 18+, has a big covered cabin and a landing craft style front for loading... More

Anglers beware. This was the most unorganized fishing charter in my life. I know it is called fishing and not catching but..... It starts off when the charter is for 730 am and they called me at 635 and tell me that it was changed to 630. Then, we were a water taxi service for kayakers. So after a nice... More

We stayed 3 nights in the Captain’s Cabin over Memorial Day weekend. It was a great value for Seward and was perfectly fine place for our family of 4. It is very basic but that was what we needed and was expecting. There are 2 double beds and a twin. 1 double and the twin are up in the loft... More

Dirt road filled with chuckholes leads you to trailer sites with electricity only for $39/night. You fill your tank from a yellow hose lying in back of the shower-toilet building and prepare to use Navy showers. Their dump charges $32, and you're strongly encouraged to return to Seward and use the city dump for free. No, it's $5 to dump,... More
