Dirt road filled with chuckholes leads you to trailer sites with electricity only for $39/night. You fill your tank from a yellow hose lying in back of the shower-toilet building and prepare to use Navy showers. Their dump charges $32, and you're strongly encouraged to return to Seward and use the city dump for free. No, it's $5 to dump,... More

The place looks interesting from the website photos, and since we were in pinch, ended up going with one of the camper's rooms. The low price (for the area, and the time of year) should have been the first clue. OK, so we were ready. Two guys on a fishing trip don't always need premium accommodations. The place is hardly... I have tent camped at Miller's Landing many times throughout the last decade, and it holds a special/nostalgic place in my heart. I went back to visit in June 2014 and it was just as special as I had remembered. The location is fantastic - so close to Seward yet hidden away in the forest, with a little more privacy... More

Tar1981; Thank you for the kind words! George is one of many amazing small lodgings we provide bookings for, and he's been one of our neighbors for most of my life. Did he show you his photos of climbing Denali? The Yurt is one of the most popular lodgings on Lowell Point, he's built everything there himself, and the view... More

Miller's Landing gets all GOLD STARS. We RV Camped in September. Staff is very friendly, conscientious and personable. The surroundings and provisions including restrooms are clean and well maintained. Had a great Kayak trip. We are beginners and Guide John was super attentive. Where else can you camp right on the water? Exquisite! Morning noon and night. We were happy... More

This place is excellent! We stayed four nights and there was so much to do! The cabins were clean and in the best location, just a few steps from the ocean. We went kayaking, hiking, went to an arts festival, and checked out a bunch of places in Seward. It's down Lowell Point Rd. so its removed enough to be... More

We stayed in the Yurt which is advertised on the Miller's Landing website but it is located a ways down the road. It was spotlessly clean (in fact the owner suggests taking off your shoes by the door) and very comfortable. The beach is beautiful and private. It's rocky so not good for jogging, but great for viewing bald eagles,... More

KMG243; Thank You for your kind words about the Oceanfront Yurt! George the owner has worked hard and built an incredible private getaway we're proud to partner with. His place started as an impossibly small shack, which he lived in as a vacation home for years. When I was little I'd go bug him to come fishing with me every... More

Pass this place up. We stayed in the Seaside cabin and RVs were parked on either side of us about 5 feet away from the cabin walls, which are paper thin. The RVers next to us were talking loudly until about midnight, could hear every word they said. We also had a horrible experience in the cabin where tons of... More

We rented a RV spot at Millers Landing and booked a shore fishing for silvers with Millers landing with JR and his wife Claudia. We had a wonderful fishing experience with JR and Claudia. I had never fished for Silvers and JR and Claudia where great about teaching me the ropes! JR and Claudia know were the fish are and... More

As far as campgrounds go- this place was okay. The pros:close to the water, the store was well stocked, many adventures in Seward can be booked right there. The cons: cramped lots, Very LOUD campers all around, and not the cleanest bathrooms. If you are just in Seward for a fishing trip, and not a super nice camping experience, this... More
