called in the reservation one day before I arrived. I was not told of a policy of no refunds! I arrived the next day and discovered that the road into the place was almost impassible (5 MPH maximum for 2 miles) and the RV sites were so slanted that leveling my RV was going to be impossible. My RV needs... more

We stayed for a few nights and weren't expecting much more from a campground. One thing I did not expect was to have to fight with people to get charges reversed on my credit card. Eventually it got resolved, but not until the interrogation was done.... We had some wonderful guides and took a great paddle to Aialik (sp?). We... more

We had read the reviews prior to booking the Seaside cabin and were expecting a primitive shed type structure, but we could not beat the price and were seeking an adventure of sorts. We were pleasently surprised when we arrived to find that it was a small cabin with electric, wood stove, fridge, and microwave....and clean too! The view from... more

The showers and bathrooms were in terrible condition compared to all the other RV campsites we stayed at in Alaska (we stayed at a total of 5). We refused to use the showers and instead drove to the $2 Seward public campsite showers. It took us 2 days to get in contact with the owner but after she heard our... more

I should have read the review before we use them. Our two kids are only about 60 pound and not fit for Charter Fish yet even though they are very passionate about fishing. We heard that the beach(Lowell's Point) close to Miller's landing has a lot of fish and you can just fish by the beach. it would be just... more

Recently four of us went to Alaska for the first time. It was the trip of a lifetime. Miller's Landing campground, a unique place in itself, was very helpful in making all our reservations. We booked a kayaking trip, a fishing trip, a three hour cruise and a place to stay (a cozy little cabin outside the Salmon Bake Restaurant)... more

We had an RV. The bathrooms are gross, the showers are worse and the campground is a muddy mess. The road out was a bit narrow, but okay. Once we arrived, UGH! Unless you want an RV set up within 2 feet of your neighbor facing the bay, forget about it! more

I would recommend you go elsewhere for your stay in Seward. Even though the main office is right on the water, but there are much nicer places to stay in Seward. Miller's landing is not a place for your camping needs or desires. It's mainly a cheap place to camp/stay while you go out on fishing trips or their kayak... more

I came to Miller's Landing as part of a 2 week guided tour. The original plan was to stay for two days and then move on. But on the second day we were told that there were problems with the one road out, as the waterfall had overflowed causing flooding. The only way to leave Miller's Landing was to get... more
