This old, restored hotel has gorgeous rooms, some with views of Resurrection Bay, is immaculate, tastefully decorated and the staff is wonderful. We stayed one night in a different hotel in Seward and are so sorry we did. There is no comparison. more

We just spent one night in the Hotel Seward. Arriving later in the day, we had not made advance reservations. We stayed in a wonderful room and were given a great price. The bed was the most comfortable of our entire 14 day trip, and the room was so quiet and peaceful. The bar was cozy and accommodating with good... more

I just returned from the Hotel Seward after a second satisfying stay. The staff's warm hospitality makes me want to mov in permanently. The Hotel is spotlessly clean with modern baths, period decor, great food, and a nice lobby, sitting room and bar. the only thing "not worth it" is the fireplace rooms which are electric light fire places, no... more

After one night in this old-style hotel I was on a first-name basis with half the staff, and met plenty of other guests in the bar that evening. I took the basic room, which was simple and neat though still a little pricey. In a tourist town like this though, it's standard. As soon as you start trying to find... more

This was a quaint little hotel very close to downtown Seward. Location was good for the Sea life Center and downtown shops but was at least a mile from boat dock and rail station. The hotel does not offer a shuttle service so unless you have a car or your good at hitch hiking you could end up walking like... more

From the minute we walked in we felt at home. The staff and owners were so helpful and they shared many stories with us. If you want the best Bloody Mary in the state ask to have Dennis make it. It was out of this world. We highly recommend this hotel. more

The staff was friendly, informative and knows the area. The location was outstanding - clean rooms, great views and was nice to retire to at the end of a busy day. Will definitely visit again. Thank you very much for the hospitality of the staff! more

We were the lucky couple chosen for the Who's Wedding is It Anyways - 100th episode giveaway. We were booked at the Seward Hotel for 5 nights, and were so very happy with the friendliness of the staff. The rooms were nice, and the honeymoon suite came complete with all amenities and a view that took our breath away. We... more

This 1st class hotel was a fantastic suprise to us because we were going to stay at the Best Western which had just closed for the season. We walked across the street into heaven on earth at the Hotel Seward in Alaska. It is a family owned piece of upscale history. Every part of the Hotel Seward is well appointed,... more
