I was a great stay, the meals were great, the room clean and the bed was great. Got a good nights sleep and was refreshed and ready for work each day. Highly recommend staying here. more

My husband and I spent 3 nights at Bell in the Woods. We found our host and hostess, friendly and acccommodating. Leigh served the most fantastic breakfasts in a delightful, airy dining room. The Cranberry room was clean and the bed comfortable. The Inn is just outside of Seward, nestled in among the trees and across from a babbling brook.... more

This has been our second time at the Bell In The Woods B&B and we were pleased again. Lovely decorated and clean rooms, delicious hot breakfast and the charming host Leigh and her daughter! This year we stayed almost a week and enjoyed a hiking trip up the Exit Glacier all the way to the Harding Ice Field (what an... more

We spent the first 3 nights of a 10-day trip of South Central Alaska at Bell-in-the-Woods. Selected it based upon recommendations and online reviews - it proved to be the perfect choice. We immediately felt at home and found our host to be accommodating. The proximity to Seward was just about right - not so crowded or busy as nearer... more

We spent three nights in the Aurora Suite in August 2009. It was spotlessly clean and nicely furnished. The Aurora Suite does not include a cooked breakfast but they did provide fresh-baked goodies and fruit every day, which were delicious. As advertised, the Bell in The Woods is located outside town, so you have to drive a ways from Seward,... more

We spent 2 nights at this wonderful B & B in August, 2009. We were welcomed warmly by Leigh. She and her husband run this beautifully furnished B & B. They live on-site in a wing of the house. Every single thing in our King room (with private bath including a jacuzzi tub and double sinks) was perfect. (We carefully... more

Although the breakfasts were the most imaginative we were served in Alaska, this was the least comfortable bed and breakfast we stayed at. The room was small and meagerly supplied. It was the only b&b that didn't have room-darkening blinds - this in a place where daylight is constant. Another room had its sink in the bedroom! When we arrived,... more

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved it! We booked the Aurora Suite because there were 3 of us. The Suite was about the same price (cheaper in many cases) as a hotel room in Seward and we had our own kitchen, living area w/tv, bathroom, and master bedroom. It was nice to have so much space to spread... more

Our stay at Bell in The Woods B&B was wonderful. We spent four nights in Seward, and this B&B was the perfect place from which to start and end our days’ activities. Leigh provided the most delicious breakfasts each morning, preparing dishes that were healthy as well as tasty. The common areas on the first floor were comfortable and inviting... more

Well maintained quiet B&B with delightful host. Breakfasts were exceptional. We stayed in the Raspberry Room which was spacious with a large private bath. Lots of nice touches like handmade soaps and lotions, ipod dock and internet access. Would highly recommend this place. more
