We stayed in the Aurora suite, a 1 bedroom suite which had a king size bed, a full kitchen, and a living room with TV. The unit was very large and quite comfortable. It is located down a few steps via a private entrance. You don't eat breakfast in the B&B. Instead breakfast foods and homemade goodies are provided in... more

We recently spent 2 lovely nights in the Mossberry Room. The room was very clean and nicely appointed. It has a comfortable queen-size bed with a private bathroom with shower. The sink is located in the bedroom and has a small shelf located above it. While there is really no room to ‘spread out’ your toiletries, we carry ours in... more

We had a two week circle of Alaska, and stayed at 6 B+Bs and 4 hotels, plus others in Seattle and Vancouver. I'm reviewing the 6 B+Bs competitively, as the rates were reasonably clustered. We're tough, so 5 stars just about means perfection, but we're reasonable, so we look at the fun of less than perfection. Leigh is a very... more

We stayed two nights in the 'Blueberry' Room. The room and remainder of the house could not have been kept any cleaner. The room was a bit small, with sink adjacent to the bed, but certainly not a problem. The complete, hot breakfasts were spectacular - something different every day, often with an Alaskan flair. So much food, that we... more

We stayed here 3 nights and were very happy. The location is nice (about 10 minutes from Downtown Seward). We had the Mossberry room. The bed was comfortable. The room was very clean. The breakfasts were great and they were accomodating when we changed out plans and couldn't eat breakfast at one of the 2 available times. They were very... more

It is easy to understand why the Bell in the Woods has been selected as the best B & B in Seward for three consecutive years. Your B&B is warm and welcoming, the rooms were immaculate and the food was gourmet plus. Thanks for making our trip a very special one. GENE AND PAT KNOXVILLE, TN more

We spent one night here on trip. We were in the Raspberry Room. The bed was VERY comfortable. No TV in room, whirlpool tub in very large bathroom with two sinks. Windows and window fan and you could hear rain on the tin roof outside. There was a little noise from road, but it didn't bother us. Breakfast was superb... more

We stayed here as a part of our trip to Alaska. It definately lived up to its reputation. We stayed in the apartment and were provided the continental breakfast. The first day was bagels with cream cheese, homemade bread for toast, cereal, instant oatmeal and beverages. The second day was a homemade coffee cake which was delicious. I would definately... more

We had a spacious, clean, comfortable well-appointed room with a private bath in a lovely home in quiet, lovely surroundings... Our hosts, Leigh and Brian, were warm and welcoming, and very attentive to the details making one feel very much at home in the large common space available for guests... And breakfasts were not only yummy, but beautifully presented and... more

We only stayed for one night at this clean, attractive B&B, but we found ourselves wishing we could have stayed for two! It's just outside of town in a quiet neighborhood, so it was nice and quiet (not that there's a lot of bustling activity in Seward in February). Leigh was charming and very welcoming, and Brian made us wonderful... more
