Loved the Paddle Inn, stayed for two nights during our honeymoon in July 2010. Fantastic view, cute touches, super clean and comfy. The only downsides were that this is a very small dirt road that separates the house from the beach (so you look at your car through the window), and the bedroom was a little dark. But other than... Loved our stay in May in the low-tide room. The view was so breathtaking. During our stay there was a constant flow of hummingbirds to the feeder right outside our large window. The shower and bathroom was very nicely done and the bedroom did a great job of keeping the light out when it was time to sleep. The location... More

I'm still reveling from my weekend at Alaska Paddle Inn - from both the views as well as the cozy interior where no detail for comfort is left unturned. I was inspired by having mountains and ocean right outside the door, access to hiking trails, and the two awesome, knowledgable hosts, Alan and Alison, to point me in the right... More

This is THE place to stay in Seward! We were a group of two couples, one in the Low Tide room (downstairs) and another in the High Tide (upstairs). We brought food and cooked dinner together upstairs [note - you have everything you need except a stove] while enjoying panoramic views of Resurrection Bay and its backdrop of never ending... More

As frequent Alaskan visitors, we return to the Paddle Inn yearly. We travel extensively and there are few places that live up to the Paddle Inn. The view is amazing and the location is convenient yet secluded enough, that you feel remote. The rooms are well equiped, immaculate and beautifully decorated. The tile work and craftsmenship is spectacular. The room... More

We stayed for two nights in early Sept 2011, and we enjoyed our stay (despite the heavy rain we experienced) and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. We booked the "High Tide" room and were very glad we did. It turns out that the B&B is set on the other side of a road running alongside the waters edge. There... More

We stayed at the Alaska Paddle Inn for two nights earlier this week in the High Tide room. The B&B is located south of downtown Seward so you will need a car to get to the inn. The place was very clean and comfortable and the attention to every detail was impressive. Great woodwork, artistic touches and great view. The... More

We have visited Seward several times and wish we had known about this inn before now. A short drive from town, but the view is amazing and beach access is great for fishing. We had all we needed for breakfast, and were able to use the grill for some fresh caught fish! We stayed in the Low Tide room which... More

We had the high tide room. Dragging the luggage up to it was not for the faint hearted. But it is worth it for the view. And the room is very nice too. We were there in the rain, but still enjoyed our stay. Some complain about the breakfast. We like the fact that we could have it when we... More

Our stay here was fantastic! The massages we got from Allison were the best we have found at any 5star resort we have been too, and the Inn is cozy yet spacious... we had the lower tide room and the stone shower/bath blew us away. Our hosts were laid back, knowlegable and very helpful. The veiw of the bay is... More
