We stayed in the High Tide room for 3 nights. Hate to buck the all-5-stars trend, but we do have a few know-before-you-go points to consider. PLUS: Awesome view, comfortable bed, great shower, good room furnishings e.g. rocking chairs and rocking ottomans! MINUS: No storage space whatsoever for your stuff: no bureau, hangers, hooks or anything, so you live from... More

My wife and I stayed on June, 2014 in the High Tide Room. This place is clean, shower is great, plenty of hot water, thermostat controls gas fireplace for heat. Provided 3 or 4 different organic cereals for breakfast. Saw a bald eagle on beach just outside the room (provided picture). Safeway, on other side of Seward, is the only... More

What a great place! Too bad we could only spend one night. The weather wasn't great, but a comfy fireplace and great views helped! Had everything we needed, including a great shower!Comfortable accomodations and a great view! Will return!

After having stayed for two nights at the Paddle Inn, I can't imagine ever staying anywhere else in Seward. The location is perfect, just far enough out of town to steer clear of the cruise ship crowds but close enough for a quick run to the grocery store. The views are incredible and the beach access is just a stone's... More

We loved the Paddle Inn and only wish we had more time there. Being able to stay on Lowell Point felt remote and special, but you were still so close to town to access the great restaurants. But being out there meant that you could just walk down the road to find a great hike. The Inn itself totally reflected... More

The Paddle Inn is exactly what a Alaska getaway should be; Gorgeous views, awesome room (Hide Tide room), the attention to detail was impressive. Don't overlook the mural done in cedar shake singles on the side of the building. Alan was super nice and accommodating, and the beach front property was an awesome place to enjoy the 11:30 pm sunshine.... More

My husband and I stayed for couple of nights at the Alaska Paddle Inn this past weekend. The view was INCREDIBLE, the property was nice and quiet and very private and the cabin was extremely clean! I am very particular when it comes to a clean place to stay and this was great! Breakfast included was good and Allison (Alan... More

What else is there to say? Alan, Allison, and Vasey rock. Seward rocks. Lowell point is Seward's sweet spot. And the Paddle Inn is the best place to stay on Lowell Point. Everyone knows that Seward is great in summer, but it's even better when Millers landing is empty and you get the beach to yourself. You know you want... More
