Alaska Paddle Inn was the perfect place to retreat each evening after a day of exploration. We had a great view, great amenities, and the owners are so friendly and accommodating. We would absolutely recommend this place to others!

Do you want a perfect place to relax after a day of adventures in Seward, Alaska? The brand-spanking new Spruce House will meet your needs in every way. It even has a gas grill for cooking your fish or burgers for dinner. Located across the road from the beach, you can sit on the front porch and look across the... More

Make your reservation before you book your flight. That way, if they're booked during your dates, you can change your dates! This place is THAT good. It has all of the comforts of home and then some. To start, the place is brand new. We were fortunate to be one of the first to stay in the Spruce House. They... More

This is the best place we have stayed at in Seward. Family friendly, good coffee, world class stunning views. There are several beautiful hikes that you can take right from the front door. While my kids and husband slept in, I strolled down the beach. We've made lots of trips to Seward over the years, and this is by far... More

This is the perfect retreat. The High Tide room is warm and cozy with a great view of the bay. Perfect for viewing Bald Eagles and other sea birds as well as otters and harbor seals. Probably Orca also, but we didn’t see any. We loved the location and while it is a few minutes out of town it is... More

Last weekend we had the pleasure of staying in the Hightide room. The room is amazing. Spectacular view and wonderful amenities. We are visiting from NY and would highly recommend this B&B. Doug & Barbara Spring, Clifton Park NY

It was a gorgeous rental, with beautiful details in the design. The shelving and pottery for dishes was beautiful, and I especially enjoyed the healthy breakfeast foods provided :) The shower was a delight, tall and castle like with its stone. And you cannot beat the view! We sat out and had tea while watching the 2 hour long sunrise... More

We have stayed in both the High Tide and Low Tide rooms at The Alaska Paddle Inn. Both rooms are well-appointed with amazing views. We enjoy making waffles and eating the provided breakfast foods. It is fun seeing sea otters from the room. During our last visit we saw a sea lion which was exciting. Alan and Allison are great... More

We stayed at the Alaska Paddle Inn in the High Tide room for a few days in March on our across-Alaska honeymoon. It was one of the best decisions we made on the trip! First of all, the scenery is stunning, the location is right off the bay, and the view from the High Tide room is so picturesque that... More

Alan and Alison have created a beautiful space with the most marvelous view of Resurrection Bay! There are great hikes to do nearby, but it is also a great place to hang out with a book and watch the eagles and whales pass by your window! What more could I ask for? Thanks so much, Alan and Alison, for your... More
