1. I am partial to staying in B&B's because I believe the place reflects on the owner/s. Therefore their is generally a great deal of quality and good service. Thus, I was totally astounded to find out that a hot breakfast (not even a cold breakfast) was not part of my stay. Needless to say, I've stayed in B&B's in... More

We strive to make every guest's stay at Alaska's Point of View a memorable one and offering good customer service has always been a priority. I think we have succeeded in this as evidenced by the large amount of guests who return and stay at Alaska's Point of View. I quote you, "I felt the bed was very comfy. The... More

Nathan and I work hard. About as hard as anyone else and we knew we deserved a getaway. A previous person had mentioned all the notes were intimidating? WOW. This place was nothing but relaxing, friendly and the owner and keeper, Deb was really nice and definitely not overbearing or hovering as we have encountered at other B&Bs. Everything was... More

Thank you for your review on Trip Advisor. I would like to clear up a few of your comments so they do not miss lead other guests. Yes, we are located a few blocks from downtown Seward. The mile area from downtown Seward to the boat harbor are all located in the original Seward townsite. So we have mixed together... More

One of the best parts of our Alaska trip was staying in the WWII moonshine-quonset hut. My husband loved the idea(ex.Marine). The view and having your own 14+ rabbits in the yard--it just doesn't get any better than that. Thanks Debra for a great stay.

Alaska's Point of View offers many different locations within Seward; we stayed in the WWII Quonset - Sunshine Hut. Our hearts sank a little when we arrived - it looked tiny and was surround by uninspiring gravel area with a few rabbits running around, but when inside we were surprised just how roomy it was, with a large double bedroom... When i looked at Alaska’s Point of View website, i had several places to choose from. the were all so tempting, but since i didnt have anyone other than myself on this trip, i decided to experience a WWII Quonset Hut, theres two of them, and i chose the Moonshine Hut, as that was the available one at the time.... We stayed for 2 nights. The "suite" that we stayed in looked like a regular one bedroom apt complete with a kitchen, bath, balcony etc. Very comfortable and well stocked. Convenient location. It was like being at home.Loved it.

We stayed in the full suite for 4 nights and were extremely comfortable. The bedroom has blackout shades, which was really appreciated with the long daylight hours! The suite is upstairs which allows for a beautiful view of the mountains and Resurrection Bay (unfortunately, the electrical lines mar the view some.) Fresh fruit, juice, muffins and a variety of cereals... More
