This wilderness lodge was the culmination of our family's vacation. I would definitely suggest staying at least 2 nights to get the most out of this wonderful place. As soon as you arrive on the island, you are greeted by the staff and they take you to a most delicious lunch. After lunch we did both the Ranger walk as... More

The Lodge on Fox Island was renovated last year, and the main lodge, dining room/gift shop, and cabins are beautiful, spacious, and picturesque. There is a small lagoon behind the cabins that has paddle boats which the other's guests' youngsters enjoyed. Electric power for the cabins' lights is provided by solar panels which preclude lights at night which would exhaust... More

We loved the Kenai Fjords Wilderness Lodge. We stayed in the Sea Otter Cabin. Our room was very comfortable with a comfy couch and a queen-size bed. In room heater kept us warm at night. The lodge has a spectacular view from the floor to ceiling windows and is a very comfortable space to gather for drinks while awaiting dinner.... More

When we booked we had no idea of the idyllic nature of the lodge. We had great weather during our 3 day 2 night stay. I thought that if we hadn't, I would have been just as pleased to sit in the main lodge, take in the scenic beauty that was just outside the large windows and bask in the... More

My husband and I spent 3 days and 2 nights on Fox Island in June of this year and I simply can't say enough good things about it. The accomodations are superb and the view is out of this world. The service is above and beyond what I have seen many other lodges and the food was exquisite. I have... More

This place was truly magical. You arrive on the island and the staff all get to know you so they can talk to everyone by name. You have the ocean and mountains out the large sliding glass doors in the front of your cabin and a beautiful brackish Lake out back. The service and scenary were spectacular. The only change... We stayed in the cabins on Fox Island in August 2013. Every relaxing, unplanned minute was perfection. It was rainy, gray, and gloomy the entire 3 days we were there, but the beauty and serenity still prevailed. My husband and I were married in the beautiful new day lodge, a small wedding of only 14 guests. The chef (oh my... More

Was there in Aug 2013 to stay for two nights and enjoyed every minute of it.The staff was excellent and the same goes for the food which was well prepared. We had one day of rain all day long and it would be nice if the lounge can have WiFi so that people can entertain themselves on such days because it... My boyfriend and I stayed at the Wilderness lodge for the first time in 2012 (july) and enjoyed it so much that we stayed again this year (2013 July). The new lodge was spacious and takes advantage of the view. We enjoyed spending time on the deck in the adirondack chairs looking for wildlife. The staff (Kelsey, Katie and Chris)... More

My family just returned from an amazing over night stay at Fox Island. Beautiful beache with stunning views. The staff Brian, Chris and Kelsey were attentive to our every need and the food was decadent. A great get away we'd like to exsperience again.
