The cabin & the grounds are darling. "Check-in" was easy, no fuss. We received the code via email and were able to enter our cabin with no issue. The common grounds were beautiful. There was a grill, grill tool set, etc. There were also board games you could use. The laundry facilities were coin operated. I even left my husband's... More

The grounds and cabins are nice, but don't expect to receive a warm welcome. The owner is extremely unfriendly, she did not even introduce herself to my husband she immediately attacked him and accused him of attempting to have a party!!!!. I don't know if it was because we showed up in two vehicles, one of our vehicles a truck was... More

We stayed here while fishing out of Seward. Cabins were spacious, clean, and nicely appointed. There is a great firepit area to hang out after a long day of fishing. We used the BBQ several times. Barb was great and attentive to our needs.

We stayed here for 3 nights and booked here specifically to use the washers and dryers. However, other travelers were using them too. Evidently there is a shortage of washers and dryers at the local laundromat and the Chamber of Commerce was telling people to come out here and use these. We were rather annoyed as we purposely booked to... More

About a 15-minute drive from Seward Harbor, the cabins are located in an attractive rustic setting around a pond. The Peterson cabin, while well appointed with a kitchen and flatscreen TV, has a very small loft with a closed in feeling and high entrance ladder. The pullout couch is a better option. However, the management was unavailable and absent from... More

It had everything we needed, even more we didn't. A full kitchen, comfy beds.. A very good stop. Not too far away is Salmon Bake, it's seasonal, but if it's open you must go! But the cabin, we had Wolf's Den, was amazing, quiet and affordable.

My wife and I booked these cabins for 4 nights. It was just the 2 of us so we booked the smaller Eagle's nest. It's too small for 2 people travelling on vacation. As we entered, it quickly became apparent that this place was a small hotel room that included a kitchenette. It was nice enough but there was no... More

We are sorry this couple felt the Eagle's Nest was too small for their visit. We have many couples request this cabin and stay in it for a week or more. Right now we have someone staying with us for two months in this cabin. This couple was moved to our only other cabin open, which happened to be our... More

Thankfully we were here for only 1 night, but we found the hosts unwelcoming, like we were an inconvenience. Not that we ever even met them. We had to call them on the phone and when I phoned, she sounded annoyed that I didn't have my pin number to get into the room and had to bother her. We had... More

We only had the pleasure of staying in Wolf's Den cabin for 1 night but we were very impressed and highly recommend Box Canyon Cabins. It was competatively priced for tourist season but if booked early enough had pleanty of availability. There were only 2 of us, for a 2 bed room cabin so we had pleanty of room. The... More

We booked both of the one bedroom cabins for several days over the 4th of July 2013. Beautiful quiet woodsy location, great wifi connectivity, nice laundry facilities. We are active between hiking and fishing so we appreciate new towels every day and we appreciate the peaceful surroundings. Exit glacier up the road, not to miss. Lost lake TH 15 minutes... More
