This place is like a dream to stay at. It totally met my expectations and much more. We stayed in the Wood Nest view room the first night and the view is amazing. It was very spacious and had everything we needed. It was like home away from home except with a spectacular view. They have two very comfortable chairs... More

We spent two nights in " Heron View", which felt like a Heron's nest - so cozy and well thought out. The space is small but so cleverly designed that you don't realize it. Everything is where you need it. My husband would have liked a little more space for hanging clothes. But the location, the view and Lynda's friendliness... More

What a wonderful place to stay, nit just in Seward - but all of Alaska. My only complain is that we couldn't stay longer. I forgot to strip the bed to find out what brand of mattress they had - because it was THE MOST comfortable I have ever slept on - and I want one!!!! We stayed in Heron's... More

Great place to stay. We loved every minute of it - whether sun or rain. The view out the window was fantastic. The house as a whole had the feel of rustic-luxury.

We stayed in the Gatehouse cottage. It overlooks the Resurrection Bay. Laying in bed, you have a magnificent view. The place is quiet and the cottage is very comfortable with a kitchenet. This is likely the best accommodation you may get in Seward.

We have both been to Seward previously, but we didn't know about Lowell Point or Resurrection Bay. This place fit the bill perfectly for us. Yes, you take a gravel road to get there, but the road is better than some on the ones I drive at home. I didn't think the road was a big deal at all. Yes,... More

We recently stayed 3 nights in Heron's Nest and loved it. The cabin was designed with pine floors, walls and ceiling, giving it a "woodsy" feeling. The extra twin bed tucked away in an alcove and a comfortable cot accommodated our two young sons. We were "torn" between spending more time in our quiet cabin with the beautiful view and... More

We recently stayed at Angel's Rest in the "Heron's View" Room. It was perfect for us. The owners have thought of everything that a person could need - from coffee in the morning to binoculars for viewing wildlife out the window. The location of Angel's Rest is amazing. We spent our best days on our Alaska Vacation here. If we... More

We stayed at Angel's Rest for one night during a trip to Seward. We stayed in the building with several rooms. If we go again, I would definitively try to stay in one of the water-front cabins. The building we stayed in seemed brand new. Everything was very nicely decorated. Two things that were not as we had expected: This... More

We are a small boutique property that can be difficult to "classify." We appreciate this guest's feedback, and have worked hard since this review was posted to make certain guests understand the amenities we offer. Since all our units contain fully equipped kitchenettes that inlude toasters and microwaves and are stocked with coffee, tea, sugar, half & half, and everything... More

Our group of 6 stayed in the Gate House and Wing Cabins, for 3 nites. Lynda was wonderful in accomodating us and warning us ahead of time we may be cramped, and while we didn't have a lot of space, we were not on top of each other. Def a perfect place for two, but fine for 3. The location... More
