Before we bought our own home in Seward ~ Stoney Creek Inn was always our first choice for accommodations. The guest cabin is separate from the main house so you have a nice degree of privacy. Each room in the cabin has it's own bathroom, small table and chairs, refrigerator and microwave. There is a great common room for gathering... More

My dad, sister and I stayed here for two nights last week and were so happy we did! Kent greeted us and got us situated and was very friendly. Both days, our fridge was stocked with fresh fruit, yogurts, milk and oranje juice. There were muffins, cereal and Kona coffer for us to enjoy as well. Stoney Creek was directly... More

We stayed here for two nights and it was great. Very quiet and relaxing but still close enough to town and the area so we could easily get to everything in our rental car. Loved that they had a delicious breakfast in the rooms for us each day. It made our early morning kayak trip much easier to get to... More

A great place for a family trip. They have an awesome hot tub and there are nice forests and creeks nearby to walk through. The picture is from a creek across the street- super fun to explore :) it's also great because it's not super touristy even though it's five to ten minutes away from downtown Seward.

We stayed for six nights in July over July 4th and the Mount Marathon race. Ken and Lisa are very accommodating but also give you space. They did a great job providing me with some gluten free breakfast items. The place is very clean. The hot tub and wood fired sauna were excellent ways to unwind and meet some of... More

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of days. The place is clean and nice and the hottub was a nice touch. However we had 3 extremely rude women that were in the room next to ours. They came in after 2am the first night and were laughing, banging around, and talking as though it was 5 pm.... More

We stayed 3 nights. The first two we were the only ones in the guest house so it was divine. The guest house has five rooms. Surprisingly they put us next to each other. Besides that the place is lovely. The hot tub is 104 degrees and is open 24/7. The sauna is heated by request. The breakfast is a... More

The new guest house is Very nice and would highly recommended it. The kitchen had everything you need to make a meal for dinner. The beds and bedrooms are comfortable and roomy. If you are looking for a great place to stay with the comforts of home this is it.

Great views, welcoming people, and outstanding accomadations. Our two night stay was complete with a flyover by the local bald eagle, dinners on the grill outside on the patio staring at the mountains, city accomadations with a backwoods feel. Thanks Stoney Creek for helping make my alaska trip memorable.

Stoney Creek Inn is not far from downtown and the harbor (but you definitely need a car) and it has an “in the woods cabin” feel. The complimentary breakfast (in the in-room fridge) was lovely – cereal, milk, coffee, orange juice, muffins and fruit slices. It was really fun to relax in the hot tub and sauna (outside with a...
