Stayed here for 2 nights - not part of a cruise. Asked for a room with as few stairs as possible as my mother uses a walking stick so they swapped her room from a top floor to a ground floor one, checking that she could manage 2 steps, which she could. Got to her building to find the staff's... More

Seward is an excellent base for a a good and comfortable exploration of the region. It is better than Whittier which has a reputation of non-stop rain. From this lodge you can get a glacier cruise ( you choose 9, or 5 or 4 hours); a hike to "Exit Glacier", a visit to Fox Island, kayaking, dog sleds, a look... More

I was worried at check in when the room wasn't ready, and the desk person, though nice, didn't seem concerned. However, the room did become available in a very short time and it was well worth waiting for: it was a suite in a cabin that didn't look like much from the outside, but was very spacious, brightly lit, clean... This place is way overpriced and difficult to book online. The rooms are average at best and missing many normal ammentities. Were there for a wedding and the hotel messed up the bride and grooms room bookings! They also booked a reception to 11pm as then imposed a noise restriction at 10pm. What else would you be doing at the... More

This hotel is off the beaten path and in a nice location and taking a stroll on the property was nice since it's located in a wooded area. The hotel offers frequent, continual shuttle service into Seward and the drivers are very helpful. There is a restaurant within a short walking distance and it's Ok but the great food is... More

Room was clean but the bed was too small for 2 adults. It seemed to be more like a place for a hunter to stay. They have a van to get to downtown which is a must because of the distance. The main lodge and office has only internet to offer nothing else. We were on a cruise and this... More

We stayed here in late july as part of our cruisetour. It was clean & comfortable & we used the shuttle to town. The front desk has Priority Mail boxes to ship items home, which we did. Our local post office said they didn't have a package for us when we picked up our mail. I emailed Seward Windsong &... More

I'd look at other options. The rooms and facilities are all OK, and the setting is nice enough, just out of Seward, but maybe just as good or better in Seward. And we could not detect WiFi in the rooms, so it annoyed me that the staff kept insisting there was, and I could always sit in reception if I... More

Lovely rooms in blocks overlooking woods. Clean. Good shower. Lovely place to stay. Meals are available at the Resurrection Roadhouse. The evening meal was very good. The breakfast buffet could be improved and the possible choices from the menu were not made clear. Wifi

Our first stop on the land tour portion of our land/cruise trip. Hotel was clean and quiet with adorable cabin units set in a park like setting. Since we only spent one night there it worked out fine. Hotel is situated out of town so you have to take a shuttle bus back to town of Seward if you want... More
