At the end of a week-long land tour, we spent several nights here before boarding our ship for a cruise. The facility is tucked away in a beautiful area just outside of Seward along the Resurrection River, with easy and convenient free shuttle service to town and local sights. We loved sitting by the fireplace in the lobby, and our... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Windsong Lodge. The cabins were nice and the restaurant had good food. The bus from Anchorage stopped here before continuing on to Seward proper. Their shuttle brought us into town for out boat trip. It was a bit of a walk to the dinning room. It was raining for most of our stay. Bring... More

We stayed two nights here, and found the rooms to be comfortable and the view awesome. There were several buildings with a bunch of rooms in each building, but the buildings were spaced far enough apart that you could feel isolated (if you were on the back balcony you could feel like you were at a cabin (assuming the people... After we departed our cruise in Seward, we did spend two nights here prior to leaving for Anchorage and home. The lodge is very rustic but, it is clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The scenery around the lodge was great. We did have a standard room that was very rustic but, comfortable. I also liked that it was... More

We stay at this hotel as part of our Holland America Cruise. This hotel is about 2 to four miles from restaurants and Downtown Seward. Although a Shuttle bus is offered, hour vary depending the season. The hotel look rustic and presentable at the Lobby area and the Restaurant. It resemble a retreat or camping center. Few buildings connected only... More

Located a few miles out of Seward. Shuttle bus runs hourly into the town but to enjoy the area on needs a car. The rooms were comfortable but a long walk from the dinning room and bar. The information desk was not helpful or informative with regards to walking in the area. When we enquired about exit glacier we could... More

My wife and I enjoyed the Windsong very much. Our room did not have a king bed but two queens. It also had a nice balcony facing the woods. Comfortable and clean. Desk clerks were very friendly and helpful.

This was a unique hotel. This rustic, yet cosy hotel was like a retreat center. The rooms were spotless. We had our coffee in the morning and sat out on the balcony and enjoyed the quiet woods. The breakfast cafe was a slight walk in the woods, but worth the trip, and we enjoyed the beautiful trees, and experienced nature... More

This hotel caters to cruise ship companies and tour busses. We were glad to have our own car so we didn't have to wait in line at the restaurant where the servers were obviously aware that most folks did not have or know they had options. When we arrived we asked at the front desk for trail maps for hiking... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Windsong Lodge, the rooms were clean and cosy and we really enjoyed the peace hearing the wind in the trees after a long day of cruising the fjords. The staff at the hotel were very nice and helpful about booking our adventure cruise in advance.
