If you like it quiet and serene this is the place for you. The rooms are in 2 story apartment style buildings with about 10 rooms per building. Lots of paved parking right next to your building. The room was very clean and quite roomy compared to some locations. We had a nice little private deck with table and chairs.... More

Reception staff friendly which is more than I can say about the restaurant staff who were unnecessarily off hand. We ended up eating in the small boat harbour. The rooms were clean but dark and looked out onto woods which was a shame as the views from the front verandas were beautiful but the room door had to be left... More

I was traveling with a friend who is terminal hospice. This visit to Alaska was on her bucket list. She has difficulty moving around so we brought her wheelchair and a cane. My first experience was at check-in. The young man at the desk adamantly refused to let us check in early (it was 3:30 and check in time was... More

Book as part of our Celebrity Cruise Lines cruise-tour I can say its an OK Lodge but at least the building we were in was adequate but not a four star our better as our Celebrity agent had indicated regarding the hotels they used. Its greatest feature is its close to the Exit Glacier which our tour bus driver drove... More

This was a step back in time type of place. A real lodge. You even got real metal keys. It was clean and well kept. We stayed here over night. The restuarant was very good. We had dinner which was excellant.

Would have been a decent place to stay if the staff was a little nicer. When we first arrived the lady at the desk was very kind. After she left we received very rude and uncaring service. Never stay at the end of the season!

Was not sure what to expect, since it was part of a tour package. But, we were pleasantly surprised. Check in was quick and staff was extremely helpful. Not only about the property, but helpful with answering questions about our tour the next day. Only drawback, was it was a few miles outside of the downtown area, but there is... More

Great location. Beautiful rooms. Restaurant has a nice deck - but bring bug spray! The bugs will drive you nuts at dusk! Halfway between town and the Excit Glacier. Helpful staff especially in recommending restaurants in town.

My husband and I stayed here one night as a part of the Kenai Fjords tour/cruise package at the end of August 2014. We found the hotel grounds very quiet and lovely. Each room is actually a part of several 2-story log cabins on the property. To me it was a little confusing to navigate around and find your cabin... More

I took the train here from Anchorage. I was looking for the shuttle that had a very small sign SWL (Seward Windsong Lodge) on it. The shuttle the luggage goes in is very well displayed. That is where I went. There was a trailer attached to it for luggage. I stepped back there and witnessed this shaved head tall kid... More
