This is a CIRI-owned and operated facility. The location is very beautiful, right along the river. It is very nicely kept up and the staff is quite nice and helpful. The rooms are arranged in groups of 8 or so, on two floors, in each of several buildings. I believe at least one building was accessible; ours was not. An... More

My husband and I live in Denali and my in-laws were visiting. I was in charge of their visit before they left on the cruise and couldn't wait to show them Seward. I found Windsong to have the best price, they are not directly downtown but we had a car it was less then a 10 minute drive. Please note... More

Stayed here after a Kenai Fjiords cruise. , The accommodations are a couple of miles outside of town on the Exit Glacier Road, so a car is desirable. The rooms, located in separate buildings, were clean, cozy and comfortable. I was disappointed in the lodge. I was expecting there to be refreshments and/or a lite bite available. Instead, there was... More

Doggies were great, ride was fun, puppies were adorable, staff was wonderful. You can pet the dogs who took you on the ride and hold a puppy. Loved it. Learned lots about the Iditarod and its history. Cruise was informative, crew was knowledgeable. Even in the rain and sleet it was a trip to take. Saw a whale breach and it... More

Don't get me wrong, location is amazing. I've had great experiences with the staff. Food was great, price for food is pretty normal for Alaska, lodging is a bit on the higher end for what you get (standard hotel feel). The people I've had to deal with to plan a wedding has been horrible. They "don't have next year's prices"... More

owned/operated by Holland America, this resort was located away from the town (not within walking distance). The rooms were located in outbuildings away from the main lodge. The rooms were simple and rustic in style, clean and functional. There was some maintenance upkeep that could have been done. Curved shower rod was hanging, causing the curtain to bunch up in... Dear Curtis S. Thank you for your post. I wanted to clarify our ownership status. We are not a Holland America property. We do work closely with Holland America and many of there guests stay with us. We are owned by Cook Inlet Regional Incorporated , which is an Alaska Native owned Cooperation. While the rooms our guests stay in... More

The room here are pretty basic. Ok well, maybe very basic. Bed and bedding OK, nothing special. . . sink in the room, motel type bathroom and furniture - but everything was very clean. I had a second floor room in one of the many buildings. I was good with the hike up the stairs (with my small suitcase) but... More

Stayed here the second week of August. Beautiful surroundings and rustic but very nice rooms. Staff at the loge were very nice and will answer any questions about things to do. Two of the main reasons I booked here was the park connections motorcoach actually picks up at the lobby of this lodge and the other reason is their free... More

We only stayed here for one night - our room was clean and comfortable and the Resurrection Roadhouse was very convenient for dinner. The WiFi is pretty much non-existent in the rooms but the lobby is lovely and has plenty of seating with full wifi reception. Would stay again if in the area.

The Windsong Lodge was the first stop on a post cruise land tour. At the time we stayed there I probably did not completely grasp the realities of Alaska inland accommodation and so may have been overly judgmental. The room was actually fine, not elegant and not particularly comfortable but fine. Once checked in we excitedly went to the bar... More
