THe lodge is beautiful very comfortable but little for kids to do no outdoor or indoor activities for them. THe onsite restaurant is expensive. We walked down to the Salmon Bake for dinner one night. The shuttles are very convienent An outside fire pit would be nice only a few chairs on shared balconies. The view of the river is... More

Way over priced and refused to take our company discount which was agreed on by them. We were able to get 2 rooms at a hotel in town for less than half what they were trying to bilk us for. My advice is to do your research.

Reasonably priced lodge; rooms are simple but have private balconies. A top-notch restaurant offers wonderful hot breakfasts, a bar and gourmet dining in a casual setting. The property is only minutes from Seward and Exit Glacier (a must).

The Seward Windsong Lodge is located in a lovely setting - although the rooms do not overlook the water as the website picture suggests. The location is also excellent, about 8 miles from the Exit Glacier. The rooms are comfortable and include a balcony, it would have been nice to have an arm chair to sit in. The staff was... More

The people here were fine, not much help with bags as our room was 100 yards away on the second floor. Not recommended for those with special needs. The room was hot even though it was barely 70 that day. I am not bashing this place as I realize we are next to no where but they dont give the... More

This lodge is on a wooded property north of town. They have an hourly van service to the small boat harbor and to the Sea Life Center, which is across the street from the south end of 4th Avenue, which is where the traditional downtown shops and eating places are located. The van also meet the train. The room my... More

We were here 1 night as part of a cruise tour package. I can't say anything about value because I'm not sure what the breakdown of the cost was - but the staff was very nice. The grounds are beautiful and room was comfortable. For a couple it was a nice size bathroom. No a/c but we made it ok... More

Great hotel with amazing views! The room is stunning. I am delighted by the kind and informative staff as well. Definitely choose this historical hotel. It does not disappoint. You will be very happy you stayed here.

I stayed here for three days in May 2014 - my second visit. I stayed last year in August 2013 for the first time. I love the location of the lodge - remote and scenic surroundings. The staff are all excellent in the lodge and the restaurant - food is very good - what I had both visits - but... More

Our party of 5 (my mom, dad, aunt, boyfriend, and I) stayed 4 nights in one of their "suites" and it was very nice, clean, and had amenities (2nd sink, fridge, microwave, 2nd TV), but I wouldn't call a half wall separating 2 queen beds and 1 trundle bed a suite. The beds were comfy, my boyfriend and I had... More
