We didn't plan to end up in this town but we were glad we did! We loved the town but this hotel was bad!! We were on out honeymoon and had to get a room with 2 queen beds and had to sleep in separate beds because they were so uncomfortable! That was the most I have ever paid for... More

First, decide which part of Seward you want to stay in, the small boat harbor or down town. There is a shuttle during the day and no problem if you have wheels, but a long walk between the two otherwise. This hotel is at the small boat harbor, where the tours all leave from. Down town seems to have a... More

I am a 72 year old man with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known to as Lou Gehrig's disease. This is a neurodegenerative disease that usually attacks both upper and lower motor neurons and causes degeneration throughout the brain and spinal cord. It is not known what causes ALS; as a result, there is no cure. I requested a handicap... More

Good location; staff is very nice. Clean rooms. They let us park for free on our last day, when we were out on a cruise of Resurrection Bay. Attached restaurant is good food and nice service. We enjoyed out stay.

Wasn't sure about staying here based on some reviews, but really nice hotel. We were in the new part so that helped. Had a gorgeous view of harbor. Only drawback if you're a light sleeper, the delivery truck for the restaurant was right under our window. And they deliver VERY early in the morning. Rooms very clean, staff accommodating.would stay... More

We stayed one night here on our way from Seward to Homer. This is a motel style hotel and we were in room #217. The room had two double beds, desk, chair, TV, luggage rack, some hangers, sink with mirror and a separate bath room with tub/shower, toilet and towels. The back of the room faced the main road, and the... More

Our room was in the older part of the motel, with an exterior door and partially obstructed view of the harbor. Room was very clean with one bed and space enough for two of us and luggage without tripping over each other. Fresh cookies were offered at the front desk when we checked in, and the couple working at the... More

We stayed to separate nights. Each was the night before an all day cruise of Resurrection Bay. This is a place to lay your head and go to sleep. We did not stay in the new part of the hotel or the annex (pictures on website). The majority of the rooms are like that of inexpensive motel chain. The room... More

I have stayed here on several visits to Seward and have enjoyed it every time. We did not have a car but was told that there is a shuttle every 20 minutes that takes you all around town. The shuttle was located right out front of the hotel. There was a couple of times that the front desk clerk just... More

We loved this basic hotel room (237) annex because of the view of the harbor. Without a view, your room could lose the vibe of the harbor. We were able to see the locals, tourists, bikers, cruise ships, fisherman and all harbor activities. The annex faces the road, then large parking lots, then commercials buildings, then the docks and finally... More
