We had some major issues with our stay at the Beeze Inn. I ended up writing a deserved poor review but wanted management (the owner) to be aware of the problems. He was sincerely concerned, said how sorry he was (the first 'sorry") and assured me he was flying to Seward and would evaluate, and fix, the problem with staffing.... more

We normally like to stay in budget-friendly hotels, and Alaska during the summertime presented some challenges in this department. We decided to give the Breeze Inn a chance, and it was really fantastic. Our room was huge, immaculate, and well-appointed. We had a ADA-compliant room on the second floor of the main building, which is brand new, so that may... more

My ..family and I stayed at the Breeze Inn in Seward, AK the evenings of June 26 and 27, 2009. We stayed in the newer section in a room facing the Seward Highway. The traffic noise kept us up most of the night. The room rate was exhorbitant even by Alaska standards. Their was no coffee or continental breakfast available... more

May 6, 2009 My husband and I are travel nurses and go to alot of different states and enjoy whatever they have to offer. We planned a charter fishing trip in Seward, Alaska and stayed at the Breeze Inn, located right on the harbor. We stayed in their older rooms. They have a new section that was a little more... more

I came here with my wife and two kids. We stayed in the building with the harbor views--there's like three different buildings, and really enjoyed our stay. We had wireless internet, HBO, great views and a very accommodating staff. The restaurant did a decent job with breakfast and lunch, though we had dinner elsewhere. I felt that the value for... more

I would not recommend the Breeze Inn to budget travelers or those expecting much more than motel quality accommodations. For the budget traveler, stay at the campgrounds down the street with a great view of Resurrection Bay for only $10/night. My wife and I visited Seward in August '08 and stayed at the Breeze Inn for 1 night. We paid... more

The rooms at The Breeze Inn were pretty standard hotel rooms. The location was great for getting to our glacier & wildlife tour in the morning - it was right across the street. The hotel had a shuttle for getting to the Sea Life center and the few things that were in the southern part of the town, which was... more

The hotel is well located and the rooms are clean but if you have booked a luxury room don't expect to see the harbor in all of them. At least there are 8 rooms without harbor views and with building views (not mountains). Be careful if you try to book a luxury room with harbor views. more

We enjoyed our stay at The Breeze, it was inexpensive compared to many in Alaska. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, the lobby had a rustic feel with a fire going in the fireplace to help ward off the chill of a rainy day. They provided a shuttle from the train, to the cruise terminal and also to... more

If you are going to Seward for a boat tour (Kenai Fjords or charter fishing), you should consider staying here. It was dark and fairly quiet, which after a few days in Alaska in the summer will be very important to you. The room is a standard motel room, although our bathroom was quite large and the shower massage head... more
