I agree with the previous reviewer 100%. We had very similar experiences. We were not there the 4th of July and it was still noisy at night, namely from the saloon that is a block away. This was a good location and a nice hotel, but the room was so small. Two people couldn't walk between the desk and the bed. Recently refurbished, the Hotel Edgewater's rooms are excellently appointed. The beds are extremely comfortable and there are many things to make guests comfortable, from the big, flat screen TV to the one cup personal coffee maker to the room with a beautiful view. Loved the blacony, we had a room which looked over the harbour so the view was amazing. Location was awesome. The room itself was only fairly small but when your on holiday why do you need alot of room when you should be only using it for sleeping and showering! This hotel is in downtown Seward. That is the only good part. It is nice outside. Inside, it has the smallest rooms I have ever been in. The furniture is Walmart quality.
