Great atmosphere! My husband and I enjoyed our 5 night stay. We had fun meeting other travelers, while cooking our meals in the kitchen. There was a nice selection of food available to us to make breakfast with each day. Heather was an excellent resource for activities to do in Seward.

I went in the beginning of June so it was the shoulder season. There were some guests but not that many. My friend and I had the attic to ourselves. There were at least 5 beds up there. The indoor bathroom was clean. I would not use the outhouse for your shower needs unless the indoor one is occupied. It... More

I stayed one night in the hostel part at the end of the room with a little curtain which was quite cozy. Then I moved to the Sourdough. My first cabin! Sniff, sniff. It was fantastic. Comfortable, unique and it had cable!!! My only beef is that the parking spot for it was taken up by a boat which, when... More

When I first searched for accommodation, I came across so many but Nauti Otter intrigued me! It had character, private cabins, private rooms, AND a hostel included! Even on the website, Heather introduces herself and tells a little bit about how she came to own the hostel. There's so much you can research about the area and places, but Heather... More

This hostel is probably the best deal in all of Seward bar none. Great location, friendly staff, basic dorm rooms or cabins out back but extremely well kept and clean. Self-served breakfast is included with lots of options, all this makes the Nauti Otter Inn a place to come back to! Main house has a great kitchen and common area... More

A friend and I needed 2 beds, so we stayed in the Little Dingy, a 10' camper. For those who have never spent time in a very small camper, an upper bunk is quite tight and it's best that only one person at a time is trying to move around. Desk lights and space heater were present. The common area... More

I stayed here after a long day of kayaking in the resurrection bay. I got in late, close to midnight. A hot shower and comfortable bed never felt so good! In the morning I made some breakfast and enjoyed the company a some other guests staying there. I will definitely be back to stay here next time I come to... More

Our time at Nauti Otter Inn & Hostel has been far beyond our wildest hopes and dreams. It sounds super corny to say and over exaggerated... but it's not! Listen here... When we first planned to visit Seward, Alaska, our goal was to film episodes based around our newly developed web series. We came to Seward for the first time... More

I've stayed a lot of different places in Seward, AK and as a born and raised Alaskan, I feel I can confidently state what it's like to enjoy the Alaskan wilderness. The Nauti Otter is an incredibly fun, well run and rustic escape just outside of Seward proper. The owner, Heather, is an incredibly good host and goes out of... More
