The Fish Whisperer provided everything we were looking for in our Alaska fishing experience. The accommodations were extremely clean with updated appliances and ample room. We definitely felt at home at the 4 bedroom unit, and one of the best features is the awesome fire pit. It was perfect for enjoying good company in the evenings. Captain Randy is a... More

We had a great time and it was good to stretch out in all the space. Nice relaxing deck and an outstanding fire pit. Double washers and dryers let us catch up on laundry. We went on Capt. Randy's charter boat and caught plenty of halibut, salmon, and rockfish and were able to grill them on the deck. Full kitchen... More

Spacious and very nice. 4 bedrooms plus 2 twin beds in open space downstairs and sleepable couches. Well stocked kitchen and great laundry room to catch up on clean clothes. Very unique and fun fire pit. We had a wonderful time staying here and fishing and sightseeing with Captain Randy and his deckhand, Quin. Caught lots of fish, saw close... More

Can't wait to go again! Our three father-son fishermen group brought 450 pounds of halibut, salmon, rockfish, and ling filets back to Texas and Florida! Capt. Randy and deckhand, Quin put us on the fish and their enthusiasm and hard work made our vacation one to remember. Seeing the eagles, humpback and killer whales, otters, etc. was a bonus. The... More

We went on a 2 day fishing charter with 2 nights at the lodge. Let me start with the lodge, very clean, spacious, with all the extras like BBQ, fire pit and fire wood. Fishing was great as well, we got halibut, lingcod, rock fish, and silver salmon. We also saw orcas swimming around the boat. All and all, great... More

We were very impressed with the lodge and out expectations were greatly surpassed. The lodge was comfortable, FUNCTIONAL and clean (I would not be afraid to take my wife or mother there). It had everything we needed for our fishing trip. Kitchen was very well stocked with fresh foods. The coffee maker made excellent coffee (just wished it worked faster).... More

To be honest I wasn't really sure what to expect. Since I am a lifelong Alaskan, I have been on some pretty neat trips in the 49th state, but, I have also been on some pretty grizzley ones. The trip down to Seward was beautiful, as it always is. However the real beauty was when we arrived at the lodge... More
