This place is one block from Resurrection Bay. I walked in the morning to the bay to see the calm water. It was an refleshing experience and the scenery was magnificent. There were 10 of us in the party. Six stayed at the house and four stayed at a single room. The house and single rooms are all attached in... More

We stayed in the Iris Large Apartment because Sea Treasures Inn was booked. If you're looking for an alternative to the big chain hotel rooms, this is a great spot. The apartment is located upstairs in the historic Brown & Hawkins building in historic Seward, above Patagonia, the ice cream/candy shop, near the coffee shop, book store, knitting shop and... More

2 couples stayed in the house. Spacious and comfy. Very quiet neighborhood. Overall a good, reasonable stay. Easy walking distance to downtown. Hostess was pretty good re communications. A few nitpicks.. Could hear people from the adjoining Inn late at night, if they were loud, which happened once. Low on paper goods, like toilet paper and 1/2 paper towel, so... More

I was told when I booked Sea Treasures Inn that it was an unattended B&B. I guess, that I didn't fully understand how this worked and we had never stayed in a B&B prior to this trip. When we arrived before noon we didn't expect to be able to get in our room but the people who were there cleaning... More

We were a party of 9 adults, and we booked the Aloha room for 5 folks (the property was kind enough to give us a roll away bed, already placed in the room), and the Iris large apartment for 4 folks. Both places exceeded expectations for the price, they were clean, and easy to access. The location is around quite... More

We had booked a single night in the Shell room. Location was important because everything we planned to do was within a couple of blocks. I wasn't particularly happy to get a phone call at 3 pm that they were moving us to their sister lodge. I was especially upset when the sister lodge turned out to be at the... More

Nice rooms. If you plan to cook there are limited kitchen supplies. Example....6 plates for 4 rooms. They say they provide items for breakfast you can cook/ have however they stocked the cereal but not the milk, gave us eggs the first day but not the next etc. Disappointing. If you just need a place to crash it works.

The lodge is spacious and somewhat clean. Conveniently located in downtown Seward. You can walk to the restaurants and the bay. Across from the library. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. The lodge needs some TLC however. The kitchen cabinet drawer is broken & won't close without some help. Other problems we encountered: Kitchen pot holders were filthy, cold... More

I got a bit confused on the password bit but a quick consultation with another guest and a call to the host cleared up the situation. We stayed two nights and found the room clean and comfortable. Since Seward is a small, compact town, it was easy to walk to most places-especially the harbor for the fjord cruises. This is... More

If we stayed here our first night in Alaska, every other accommodation would have been disappointing. Homey, comfortable and spacious. A great deal for the price. We traveled as a foursome so Sea Treasures offered lots of space for all of us. Lovely kitchen. Nice size bedrooms. Perfect in every way. And an easy walk to everywhere in town.
