My mother, a friend, and I found the Brass Lantern to be perfect for our needs during our 2 night stay in Seward. The location in a mostly residential area was great in relation to the center of town. Our hostess was efficient with the business end of our stay and friendly. Great alternative to local hotels/motels. This may be one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. Breakfast (including fresh baked cookie bars) was provided. We were in a completely private apartment so we did not feel like we were staying in someone's house. The kids could sleep late downstairs and we could drink our coffee...etc. up.
