Our family of four really enjoyed our stay in Bear's Den 2. The unit was spacious, nicely decorated, and the furnishings were of high quality. We arrived to find warm cookies on our kitchen table, and a nice supply of continental breakfast items for our two day stay. The owners were friendly and were available by phone to assist us.... It was a very nice, roomy suite with a comfortable bed and full, stocked kitchen but didn't realize ahead of time that we were on our on for breakfast--they leave you the makings for a nice Continental breakfast but we missed the usual hot breakfast served at all the other B&Bs we stayed at while in Alaska.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Bears den two. It was Warm and cozy although It was rainy and cold in Seward the days we were there. There was enough food for an army for breakfast. We also had warm cookies right out of the oven when we arrived. We had a separate bedroom and a large... More

I've stayed at a lot of places in Seward over the years, but after staying at the Bear's Den I always stay there now, if there's a "den" available. The place is reasonably priced and is like staying in a nice house rather than a hotel. You've got your own kitchen, a BBQ and it's centrally located so that you're... More

I highly recommend this B&B. We chose it because it was inside Seward (but close to the downtown and waterfront area) and less expensive than the big Hotel near the waterfront, and sounded like it might be in a more quiet area. We were not disappointed. Our stay was very comfortable. We slept very well and had plenty of breakfast... More

We spent 3 nights in Den 1. It was roomy and relaxing with plenty of options for breakfast (bagels, toast, English muffins, cereals, muffins, fresh fruit, yogurt, orange juice, milk, coffee). We did not have a chance to enjoy the deck due to rain but that made us appreciate the spaciousness. The view is partially obscured by the roof of... More

My husband, sister, brother-in-law and niece stayed at the Bear's Den. We absolutely loved the place. We had Dens 1 and 2. Owners were super helpful and the breakfast items were great. It was nice to have a large room (more like a small apartment) to return to each evening after our adventures. I cried when we left Seward. We... More

I stayed in the lodging portion of the Bear's Den, which has 3 bedrooms as well as a kitchen. It was a great place to stay with friends. The local Safeway with a Starbucks inside is a short walk away which makes it easy to buy food for breakfast or other meals if you prefer to cook for yourself.

My friend and I spent 2 nights in Den 2 and really loved it!! It's very comfortable and cozy - very clean and the family hosts couldn't have been nicer or more welcoming. There was plenty of space and all the comforts of home - including shampoo and toiletries provided - nice touch! The freshly baked cookies right from the... More

We stayed in Den 2 for 2 nights In July 2014. It was clean and comfortable. It was close to the seward harbor, restaurants. house had heated flooring, which was comfortable as there was a pretty bad storm when we were in seward. Parking was right in front of the door and it was very comfortable to move luggage in... More
