My husband and I stayed at the lodge in May 2011. It was very nice and enjoyable. We did not have a private bathroom which was shared with another room on the floor but it did not prove to be a problem at all. We really enjoyed the homemade ice cream which was so delicious. I made sure to come... More

We stayed in the Bear Lake Suite for four nights in August 2011, and could not have been happier. The B&B is in a great location for activities in Seward plus lots of great hiking and fishing. The accommodations are comfortable and the food is outstanding. We were curious about the situation with the bathroom down the hall, but as... More

My wife and I visited at the beginning of July 2011. We stayed in the resurrection peak room for two nights. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great view of the lake. The location is just outside of town. We had a car and it was very easy getting back and forth from town. I booked this... More

We stayed at the Bear Lake Lodgings B&B in early Sept. We really had a great time and the B&B was great. We were at the B&B for 3 days and did not meet the owners - (Pat and Dennis ?). The person that was running the B&B when we were there - Janine - has since left for the... More

We are very happy to hear when a guest has enjoyed their stay enough to want to return next year! Sorry that our lives are quite busy in the summer season and we are not able to meet all our awesome guests. Our website gives a little view into our summer lives with our ice cream business at special events... More

We stayed one night here and were very pleased with our stay. Pat and Dennis were very gracious and had lots of great information about the local area. Pat gave us an awesome breakfast too - we really appreciated all the time she put into it. The ice cream was a special treat too! Our room was spacious and extremely... More

Thank you for the wonderful comments - it's always great to hear our efforts are appreciated. I think your visit was extra special due to the great B&B experience you and your husband enjoyed. I'm talking about the wonderful opportunity B&B's give guests to share with one another. Our evening ice cream time when we hand dip all guests ice... More

Just returned from a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the Bear Lake Lodgings B&B. We stayed in the Bear Lake Suite which has a deck and a lovely view of the lake. This suite has its own private bath, but it is located down the hall which did not sound so great at first but actually turned out to be fine.... More

You kind comments mean a lot from you, as I know you expressed having both worked in the hospitality business. Good to have a guest express the private bath down the hall was not a problem - as we now have special logo designed robes for men and for women guests. Traveling with a robe is just to inconvenient and... More

We traveled with another couple who stayed in the Lakeside Suite and we stayed in the Bear Lake Suite. I have no complaints about our room, but our friends thought the lack of screens that prevented them leaving windows open at night and depriving them of cross-ventilation was a problem. Their bathroom was down the hallway, and although it was... More

Good to hear our lake side location provided the beautiful setting our guests come to enjoy. The eagles were plentiful this summer around the lake, both the mature and immature eagles which have not yet achieved their white heads. Bears are a treat and a scary blessing - as B&B owners we don't want our guests in harms way and... More

The owners were not there when we were and we were allowed to use their room. It is a great room with a large balcony and a lovely view of a small lake. Some people used the kayaks and could see the black bears feasting on salmon. More

This is the type of place B&B travelers long for - warm, friendly home with just enough privacy where you don't feel like you are living in a dorm room! Right on Bear Lake, with a canoe and kayaks for guests to enjoy, minutes from downtown Seward. The host was an amazing cook, and served incredible chocolate dipped ice cream... More
