As a flight crewmember, I love staying here because it is close to the local eats and shops as oppose to being secluded in a resort. The rooms have always been clean and the beds are pretty darn comfy after a long flight.

I must say, I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to the hotel. I booked this stay only for one night, expecting a not so decent room and a experience to forget. However, the rooms looked put together and fresh. My check-in process was great and the location can't be beat. Many hotels along Ali'i drive has seen better days... More

I will start by saying they have no airport shuttle pickup taxi ride 39.00. arrived at the hotel just before mid night, started the check in process and they had my name spelled wrong and could not find my reservation.. Finally found my reservation by using my phone number and first name 20min later. Asked if I could arrange a... More

Aloha, Thank you for sharing your comments with me and I sincerely apologize for the situations you are describing. This is not an indication of what we consider an outstanding Guest experience. I apologize for the delayed response as this is the first I am learning about this situation. Perhaps the comment card was given directly to our Housekeeping Director.... More

Our room was nice, but nothing special. Comfortable beds, hot shower, friendly staff. The pool area was limited, and we were never able to find a vacant lounge chair. I was not pleased to have to pay $13 per day parking, but don't know what others charge. The biggest thing that impressed us was their super fast, smooth, and quiet... More

Thank you for sharing your comments about your stay at our hotel. We are glad that you had a great stay and hope you will return again soon. As for the parking fee, though we do charge for that added service, unlike the other hotels on the Kona Coast, we do not charge a resort tax. Hopefully, our guests will... More

This is the second time my husband and I stayed at this hotel. The location cannot be beat. The hotel is on one end of the 1 mile long downtown Kona area. It is full of restaurants and bars including the Kona Brewery within walking distance. The rooms are okay and about what you would expect from a Courtyard Marriott.... More

Stay in the comfort of the Marriott brand, enjoy the stupendous breakfast buffet to power you for the greater part of the day, go for the activities just outside the main building, and enjoy the amazing multi year award winning Luau in the evening on the grounds of this Marriott property. The hotel also has a section where a lot... More

We stayed here Jan 17-25, 2016. We booked our hotel with Costco travel and upgraded to a partial ocean view and continental breakfast at the nearby restaurant. The first night we checked in late, they gave us a box of chocolate covered macadamia nuts as an anniversary gift. Upon check in, room was clean but it was barely a "partial... More

The first half of our trip was at the Mauna Lani. Wonderful! The second half is with family here in Kailua-Kona. We splurged for a room with a "view." I do not know why. Look at the concrete view. The nice lady at the check-in was really trying to sell me on this as her favorite room. This is room... More

We booked 13 days here and left after 2. We couldn't get over two things: the lack of any kind of appealing view (we looked at a rooftop and parking lot -- see photos) and the moldy smell of the room. We asked for a different room but they weren't able to accommodate. It looks like they had some recent... More

we checked in today and were given room 302 overlooking the roof of an ABC store and parking lot. We pay up for a great view when traveling. . .to sit out at night or enjoy morning coffee. This is not worth the premium rate charged. The front desk says they are booked today and couldn't (wouldn't?) check for another... More
