We LOVED our stay. The location was perfect; close to the Kona Shops and great restaurants. The pool was perfect, we always were able to find a chair and shade. The drinks were reasonably priced and the food was amazing! We'd go back in a hart beat and recommend it to anyone going to Kona

I stayed here 10 nights in August. The location is great - right in the heart of town. I quite enjoyed my room with a balcony and view of the town and mountain above. It did smell a bit of tropical antiquity but it didn't really bother me. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby and lots of attractions (luau,... More

We had a wonderful time here! Lu'au was the best! Staff was very helpful as it was my first time to the island. There are many things to do and see. The private beach was a great place to swim and snorkel. Hope to visit again soon!

We looked at Trip Advisor for a few weeks before we chose our hotel for our vacation. I am glad we did because we chose Courtyard King Kamehameh's Kona Beach Hotel. From the time of our arrival to our check out we were treated as good as the king himself. Wendy and Pia at the front desk to mention a... More

This hotel is now a Courtyard by Marriott. I'd stayed her in the late seventies, and at that time it was quite a nice hotel, then about 8 or 9 years ago I walked through and was astounded at what poor condition it was in. Now, I'm pleased to say - as one would expect from Marriott - it has... More

We stayed several times years ago. It is much better now then back then. Good place to stay if you want enjoy Kailua. My daughter and I needed a place close to the airport for an early flight. Hotel was clean and comfortable. We didn't get a chance to dine or have drinks so I can not comment on food... More

Stayed here for one night while visiting. Glad we did not stay longer here; however, maybe if I stayed longer my view would have changed to more positive. This was my first & only impression: This hotel did not impress me. Did not give me the "I'm in Hawaii now" feeling. Room decor lacking, hallways very drab. Arrived late evening... More

We are currently staying at this hotel for 1 week. I had asked Wendy (the front desk manager) about getting a free upgrade, and she was able to upgrade us to ocean front rooms. She has gone out of her way to accommodate our request and I can't say enough good things about her and all of the employees we've... More

The King Kam is a great choice if you want to be in walking distance of Ali'i drive. It is at the north end and there are a lot of restaurants and shops very close by. We walked the full length to south end everyday and it is a great walk. The hotel itself is very good, as you expect... More
