Loved the location. Walking distance to a good number of restaurants and shops along Ali'i Drive. Right on the water with a nice little beach and decent snorkeling. Room had a little bit of a smell, but you didn't notice it after a minute or two. No complaints about it. The entire hotel is a little dated, but has a... More

Aloha, Thank you for sharing your comments about your recent stay at our hotel. We are an older hotel and refresh our décor every 6-7 years. In fact, we will be undergoing one during 2016-2017. It would be fun for you to return to see what we've done...it may not feel like the Brady Bunch era anymore! Glad you had... More

Many Pros: As previously mentioned, fabulous location. nice views. Nice little (little!) beach right out front. Nice restaurants... beautiful grounds, great location from the main street. The cons were: the ridiculous no more than 4 people to a room rule! We are a family of 5. We were forced to get a second room. Since our boys were still quite... More

Pros: Great location, it is close to lots of local eats as well as Kailua pier. Perfect to going out to restaurants and shopping. There is a small cove in front of the hotel for children and people who are not strong swimmers to snorkel and see fishes. There is excellent partial view of the ocean so loved having coffee... Aloha, I am sorry to hear about the problems you encountered in the bathroom. If you would like to identify what room you were in, we can double check on that. As for the parking, we do charge a $15 a day parking fee for the convenience of being able to keep your car on property and easily accessible. There... More

I loved Kona! So much to do and so much history. Spent 7 days there. Drove all over the island. A rental car is a must. Great restaurants in old town Kona. Marriott Courtyard is a great location. Beautiful property. So convenient.

Great location, it is close to lots of local eats, as well as Kailua pier for a nice walk. The buffet breakfast is also good with a nice selection. The rooms, although looking a bit dated (as expected of an older hotel), are nice and clean. It was nice and quiet during the early mornings and night time, so you... More

As a flight crewmember, I love staying here because it is close to the local eats and shops as oppose to being secluded in a resort. The rooms have always been clean and the beds are pretty darn comfy after a long flight.

I must say, I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived to the hotel. I booked this stay only for one night, expecting a not so decent room and a experience to forget. However, the rooms looked put together and fresh. My check-in process was great and the location can't be beat. Many hotels along Ali'i drive has seen better days... More

I will start by saying they have no airport shuttle pickup taxi ride 39.00. arrived at the hotel just before mid night, started the check in process and they had my name spelled wrong and could not find my reservation.. Finally found my reservation by using my phone number and first name 20min later. Asked if I could arrange a... More

Our room was nice, but nothing special. Comfortable beds, hot shower, friendly staff. The pool area was limited, and we were never able to find a vacant lounge chair. I was not pleased to have to pay $13 per day parking, but don't know what others charge. The biggest thing that impressed us was their super fast, smooth, and quiet... More

This is the second time my husband and I stayed at this hotel. The location cannot be beat. The hotel is on one end of the 1 mile long downtown Kona area.
