We started our Big Island honeymoon with 4 nights at the Studio here. It was a wonderful decision after the madness (good madness, but still madness) of our wedding/wedding planning...to come to Nancy's Hideaway and relax. The studio is spotless & homey. The patio is wonderful, and great for leisurely breakfasts. Nancy is very friendly and provided everything we needed.... More

Wow! That about sums up our 5 night stay at the absolutely phenomenal Nohea Studio at Nancy's Hideaway. Nancy's stunning property is located up in the hills overlooking Kailua-Kona. The gorgeous setting is lush with flowering trees and plants and extremely quiet which allows for a wonderful sleep after exploring the Big Island. The studio is well appointed with all... More

My wife and I spent 5 nights in Nahale Cottage in April 2014. The cottage was very clean and comfortable with quality inclusions. It had everything needed for an excellent stay. It was in a tropical garden with nice views of the gardens and the distant ocean. A 10 min easy drive to Kona was no problem. Being uphill from... More

The property is located on the outskirts of Kona along the Kaloko Drive. The setting is very tranquil with a lovely garden. The are 2 cottages on the property. Ours had a nice bed, a small kitchen, a bathroom and a small dinner table. Every afternoon Nancy would make our breakfast for the next morning in put in our fridge.... More

We spent a few days at the Nahale Cottage. The cottage was very clean and had a large porch with a good view looking down into Kona. The property is in a residential neighborhood high above Kona, and it takes about 10 minutes to get into town, which is perfect for those wanting a quiet retreat at the end of... More

We stayed at the Nahale Cottage for 6 nights. What a great place. In addition to everything all of the other reviews have said, it's a great place to relax, and watch and photograph birds (not the honeycreepers, but lots of wonderful introduced birds). It was never a dull moment each morning when the birds began to show up. Whenever... More

My girlfriend and I spent 5 nights at Nancy's again for our second trip to the Big Island. It was just as we remembered it from last year.....The best getaway on the island. We love the secluded and peaceful setting to come home to after a long day visiting beaches and other places of interest. Nancy leaves us a great... More

What a great place to stay! Of the 6 B & B's that the wife and I stayed in during 3 weeks on 3 islands, this one was the best of the best. I would ditto the comments of other recent reviewers. My favorite part of the Nohea Studio is its privacy and nice view from the lanai. Nancy's breakfast... More

I stayed in the Studio for 11 nights and enjoyed it so much that I changed my plans so I could stay an additional 7 nights. The Studio is a tranquil, quite, impeccably clean, well appointed and everything that a lovely spot to stay is. Nancy could give lessons to many people of how to manage a vacation home/B&B incredibly... More

When I read Tripadvisor reviews several months ago, I couldn't understand how anyplace could get so many stellar ratings. Now I understand. It's just splendid. It's very quiet, beautifully furnished, spotless, in a gorgeous setting. It's great as a place to relax and as a base to visit all the corners of the Big Island. It's perhaps 10 minutes from... More
