Nice condo. It is a very good location in kona. Shopping and good food is with in a good walk of billfisher condos. Condos are equipped wit a/c, tv with cable and a very nice kitchen. There is no night desk to check in but there is a night box with instructions. Apartments are a little hard to find at... More

I will start by saying the attitude of the 2 older ladies in the office really needs to be corrected. They act like its a imposition when you walk in and they HAVE to help you in some way. Not what you would expect from anyone in Hawaii. Charging for AC is ridiculous and the WiFi was a joke. 20... More

The Kona Billfisher is a small owner managed time share complex that is unique in that it is owned in 1 month increments. Therefor, our focus is to provide our owners with a clean, attractive vacation home in Hawaii. Our owners return year after year, and some own multiple units to stay longer than just a month. Many are original... More

I always enjoy staying in condos when I travel because I like to have a kitchen and extra space. The Kona Billfisher is just ok....the rooms definitely need to be updated, but the grounds and rooms are very clean. Everything on the other reviews are true...extra fees for wi-fi, air conditioner, laundry, No elevator, ants come in the kitchen area,... More

The Kona Billfisher is a small owner managed timeshare where each of the owners owns 4 consecutive weeks. Many owners return year after year to enjoy Hawaii among their friends, the fellow owners. The WIFI is expensive to maintain, therefor those who choose to use it share in the cost. BTW our WIFI charges and other charges are much less... More

Although the location was fine, if I had to do it over I would have stayed in Hilo. I would have been closer to waterfalls and to the volcano. This resort has too many rules -- "NO MARCO POLO IN THE POOL?!?!" It appears to be run by an older group of people who like things their own way --... More

All the mattresses are less than 4 years old and were selected for their comfort for the majority of our Owners. They are the same as used in most of the resorts in Kona, but sleep comfort is a personal issue for everyone. Because of the proximity to the pool, Marco Polo is forbidden as it is in many pool... I was not expecting much, and that's what we got: Not much. There was a reason this was one of the only RCI available properties in Kona. The word is out. PRO: Close to down town and the tourist area. Has a pool. Nicely landscaped. Nice bed and linen. Linen exchanged twice a week. Pretty well stocked. Paid laundry room.... More

We were assigned Unit D-2 with our one-week stay on an RCI exchange, the unit is a 1-bedroom unit on the 2nd-floor with a slight view of the bay, facing North. We were there for Memorial Day week, due to we were in Kauai the week prior we did not get to the Kona Billfisher until, Sat, May 23, at... More

Stayed at the Kona Billfisher last August. Tidy condo, with all the amenities we needed for our stay. I especially loved the pool area. Love the location too - right next to the village and close to lovely beaches. Not a big rowdy resort, so got a good sleep every night. Will be going back there next year. Definitely recommend... My husband and I just got back from a week at The Bilfisher. We would return in a minute! We stayed in Unit D2. It has a partial ocean view from the balcony where we watched breath taking sunsets. The unit was beautifully furnished and spotless. It contained everything we could possibly need right down to a blender, lawn chairs... More

I have stayed at several RCI resorts and this one is just like most others. Not too good, not too bad. I understand it was recently updated but the rooms still look dated and smell of something. My spouse said it best, a men's musty locker room. PROS: The beds are comfortable; the sheets and linens are top of the... More

We stayed for a week in D2. Check in went fine with Liz. She was cordial and apologetic about all the fees we had to pay which got me upset. Apparently I should have paid more attention to the details before I booked this place on price alone. Anyway we had to pay about $66 for a transfer fee (... More
