We are not owners at Holua, but traded time for two units for a one week stay. We found ourselves a little challenged to find the resort, only because we travelled down Ali Drive from the airport rather than following the map as originally planned. Overall, we were VERY impressed with this resort. The grounds are very pretty - many... More

I stayed at this resort for a week with my 3 sisters and we really liked the property. The staff was very helpful and cheerful. There is a reasonable collection of DVDs for rent, a book exchange shelf, beach gear like chairs, parasols, coolers to rent. We were able to leave our bags at the front desk for a few... More

We have points with Shell Vacations Club and this was the first place we used them, about two years ago. Since then we have been back two more times, and have loved it every time. The staff has been friendly and helpful, and the resort has wonderfully decorated, non-cookie cutter style suites. The landscaping is also gorgeous, but then, you... More

Our short stay at the Holua Resort @ The Mauna Loa Village was very, very nice! The staff was exceptionally friendly and the grounds were beautifully manicured. We stayed in the one- bedroom unit which was very large. It had a well-stocked kitchenette, 2 bathrooms, a sofa sleeper, and 2 t.v's. This unit could easily accommodate 4 people. There were... More

This was a Time Share Exchange. The resort would be one of the best that I have stayed in. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always had a smile on their faces. The accommodation was excellent. I had a 2 story appt. Bedrooms where downstairs and kitchen etc upstairs. There was everything that one needed. The grounds where immaculate. 7... More

We have stayed at many Shell hospitality properties and this lived up to the quality we have come to expect. Just a short drive to the Keauhou Shopping Center and Ali'i Drive. The room was kept clean and was very spacious. A number of pools made it very convenient for us. We would definitely stay at this resort again and... More

Not on the beach, but close. Very clean, spacious, colorful and comfy. Nice and quiet, too. Didn't seem to be too many other people around. We really enjoyed our three-day stay.

We stayed at Holua Resort for a long weekend and we had a great time. The townhouse was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We used the BBQ area and family and friends had a great time in pool. The front desk was very friendly and provided information regarding the resort and were able to... More

When we arrived, the front desk staff were rude. Our room smelled like garbage but the front desk did not want to switch us to another room or call maintenance. The next day, maintenance staff fixed the problem (faulty garbage disposal) but I feel these things should be checked and dealt with ahead of time - our room really stank!... More
