My sister and I stayed at the Holua Resort for a week. The staff was friendly and helpful and the grounds were absolutely gorgeous! It was like living in a tropical botanical garden. We stayed in a 2 BR, 2 BA unit which had everything we could possibly need including a kitchen fully stocked with all the dishes/pots/pans/appliances that we... More

We stumbled across this property while searching for a last minute room. We were moving from Hilo to Kona and needed just one night to tide us over until our previously booked condo/rental became available. Had I discovered this hotel first, THIS would have been our home for the week we were in Kona. First, the property is adorable. Feels... More

We stayed in this hotel for a week. The location is awesome. Rooms are beautifully furnished with lots of space. The fully equipped kitchen was awesome. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Plus, it was away from the noise but not too far from anything. Perfect. Restful. Relaxing. i can't think of a better hotel.

This place was amazing. We had come from a condo in Kihei, Maui, and this place blew it away. The rooms were huge and very clean and comfortable. Pools, jacuzzi's and grills close to every set of condos. The place is kept very well, fountains all over, tennis courts galore. It is very close to all the stuff you would... More

Stayed here in December 2013 for a week. GREAT ROOM! Pros: Its spacious. Better than a hotel The grounds are well kept and nice The staff was very friendly and helpful Just a short drive from Kailua-Kona (about 10-15 min) and there's a grocery store up the street Even though you have to walk from the parking garage, most of... Bed- 3/5 Average. Not to firm and not too soft. Room-3/5 Televisions were out dated. Spacious with a large balcony. Bonus is a full kitchen. Has air conditioning (not central air), ceiling fan, screen front door. Bathroom has a shower tub combo. Water pressure was weak. Proximity 3/5- About a 10 min drive to downtown Kona. There is a shopping... More

This was quite a surprise. We had expected good value for money accommodation but it was so much more. What an idyllic setting, large rooms, well equipped kitchenette, lovely balcony, comfy bed and quiet. What more could anyone ask for? On top of this the site facilities, excepting anywhere to eat, were great. Plenty of swimming pools, tennis courts, BBQ... More

Napua was very helpful and assigned us a unit with a good high speed internet connection which was critical for us, as well as being furthest from the golf course refurbishing noise next door. The resort is not on the ocean, but we had a peek-a-boo view of the ocean from the dining area. The unit was very large and... More

We enjoyed three nights at Holua Resort - it was great. We arrived early and were happy just to leave our bags but our room was ready, which was perfect. A great self contained option, very clean, friendly staff, lots of pools and parking included. You really need a car here, it's about 15 mins drive to the main food... More
