My husband & I started our vacation in Maui for 5 days at an ocean front property on Kaanapali Beach. So my review of Holua Resort may sound alittle tainted. We were disappointed that we didn't pick an ocean front on the Big Island. this property was pretty clean but the bathroom leaves alot to be desired. The property as... More

I took some relatives to stay there and they were in disbelief this place was so cheap! Lots of flowers and plants on the property! Fish ponds also! Barbeques and swimming pools and hot tubs also! The rooms were bright colored and spacious! Staff on property were always friendly and if anything was needed (towels or soap or?) they didn't... More

We are still here and have had a great experience. We have been here four days now and have 3 more days to go. As reported in most all reviews, the staff has been exceptionally friendly. Also as reported in numerous reviews it is a bit of a walk from parking garage to the units, but it is good exercise... More

We stayed here August 16-18 last year, found it on Hotels.com. There were two of us couples, so four in all, and we're locals from Maui and young so we didnt mind having to stay in a 1 bedroom with a sofa bed in the living room. We're not too picky or high maintenance. Main thing we care about is... More

We recently stayed in this two bedroom, two and a half bath condo-type accommodation. This property is located about 8 miles south of the main village of Kailua-Kona, where most of the shopping, restaurants and nightlife are located. It is near the ocean, but not ocean front exactly, since a golf course runs along the actual cliff on the ocean.... More

The staff are some of the best trained staff I've seen in any resort. They are a happy bunch, courteous and friendly. However the facilities is a bit dated, vintage 1980's. Our toilet back up one night and the other two toilet was slow in draining. I can just see a big accident waiting to happen. Other faucet and sink... More

We just came back from a stay in a 2 bedroom, 2 and a half bath condo. It worked very well for us. We did most of our cooking in the unit and on the barbecues. There were 2 minor maintenance issues with our unit, but the staff attended to them very quickly. The tennis courts are free during the... More

From the moment we checked in, we knew this would be our oasis for the week. Our 2 B/R Villa was spread out on two levels. It was spacious and well equipped. The decor was modern and tropical with high quality wicker furniture. The lanai was huge and wrapped around one side of the unit. There were king beds in... More

Our family stayed in a two bedroom, two and a half bath condo. It worked out great for all of us, including our grandson who loved the pool and hot tub just outside his door. The kitchen was well equipped, the grill was close by and worked well. The staff was helpful, the office had plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas,... More
