The condo we stayed in was huge and very clean. This is not a fancy place and it was clear that some things were a bit worn. It didn't matter a bit---very quiet property! When we went to the pool, our family was the only one there. There are 7 pools. The guest service was impeccable! Incredible check in experience---very... More

The staff at the Holua Resort are the best. Due to missing our direct flight to Kona, and having to divert to Honolulu and then Maui before finally getting to Kona, we didn't get to the resort until after 11:00 p.m. at night. The office was closed, but the Bellman answered the direct line telephone and came and escorted us... More

Love staying at this property on Big Island. The 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom units are huge. Feels like home with full kitchen, living/dining room, laundry with complimentary detergent, patio, multiple pools on site, and personal favourite, the BBQ areas. Room faced a golf course, morning groundskeeping to be aware of. Beds are clean. Don't hesitate, book here! + Flat screens in... More

This is a very quite, clean, beautiful garden, friendly staffs, spacious condo. It comes with free parking, free wifi (very slow, weak signal in our unit), washer/dryer, A/C in living room, bedroom. 6 pools (small, compare to most of resort/hotel pool size) several BBQ grill. Kitchen is small but it has everything-stove, oven, micro oven, dishwasher, full size refrig. Because of... More

We were a little nervous, as we got a great deal on the condo (including air, etc). But, we were not disappointed. Very clean-no bugs inside and the unit was very clean, in general. Our unit had a washing machine, dryer, towels, etc. - mostly everything you could need. It is not on the beach, but we weren't expecting it... More

We have stayed at this condo every time we return to the big island. The rooms are huge and could easily sleep 6. They include full kitchens and have a washer and dryer in a closet. There are several pools around the resort and several BBQ grills if needed, The grounds are immaculate and very tropical. You however are not... More

While the Holua Resort does not sit on a beach, the grounds are beautiful, the tennis courts and pools are great, and the people are very friendly. It was a good location to start our daily adventures around the island. We saved on food by buying fresh fish and grilling on one of the nice Weber gas grill provided each... More

This is one of the best resorts I have ever been to! Well-kept, beautiful grounds, quiet location, no cars allowed after the parking lot(which is free), it is really a treat! We stayed there for a week in a one bedroom villa, plenty of space for two people, really could accommodate probably 4.Wi Fi was fast, the entire resort was... More

My husband and I stayed at this great resort from July 5-12, 2014. We own a timeshare on this same island and decided to trade for an area we hadn't explored. What a pleasant surprise! The one bedroom was clean, comfortable, and absolutely worth the extra we had to pay. We would definitely stay here again. We were close enough... More

I initially booked this stay thanks to ready many positive reviews on Trip Advisor. Post-trip, I can now see why it is so highly rated. Personnel at the property--from the front desk to the bellmen--are top-notch. Every one was quick with a greeting and really made you feel welcome. The rooms were incredibly spacious, easily accommodating my family of four.... More
