It was the first time for us to stay at condominium, and we were very happy to choose this cond as the first one!!! We had a terrific time during the stay. Our room 20-133 was very cleaned enough spase, sometimes cats came and saw us by the window. The access to the shopping centre was very easy! more

We got a really good deal for staying in Mauna Loa Village for about $100/night. The one bedroom suite was very big with a nice and convenient kitchen, washer and dryer. For us with two small children and a 10 days trip, it was much easier to stay a place like that.Actually it was also very close to everything too. more

Holua Resort is a real find. South of Kona it is perfect for couples and families. The units are spacious and very well appointed. Extremely clean, colorful, and set inside a beautiful garden with 8 small but swimmable pools. You'll have to get in your car to get to a beach, but if you are looking for a quiet garden... more

We stayed here only 2 nights in Nov 2009, which was a shame, we could have easily stayed a week. We paid approx $175US/night for a 2-bedroom townhouse (via agoda), but were lucky to be upgraded to a suite (2 storey, 2 living areas, 3 bathrooms)- this was fantastic- bigger than our house!!. It is not new, but impeccably clean... more

My family stayed at the Holua Resort at the Mauna Loa Village from October 12 through October 18, 2009. The Villa was beautiful. It was very clean and we had everything we needed. The staff was outstanding. They were friendly and very helpful. We would recommend the Holua Resort to all our friends and family. We intend to go back... more

Met on the Big Island with extended family for a family reunion along with a trip up to the volcano for hiking etc. Rented three 2 bedroom units. The staff accommodated us with units next to each other and also close to the parking garage since there were also toddlers in our group. The units are spacious, well furnished, and... more

This condo resort is a good value in southern Kailua-Kona area of Big Island. It is very near the Sheraton at Keauhou Bay. We paid $123 per night plus tax for this large 1 bedroom condo with full kitchen. The units are in 20 clusters strung along a golf cart/walking path. Some of the clusters are as much as a... more

This resort lived up to all the positive reviews written about it. Although it is somewhat "off the beaten path" from downtown Kailua-Kona, we actually enjoyed being away from the noise and to wake up to just the sound of birds calling. The rooms are spacious and clean; housekeeping did a wonderful job the entire week we were there. The... more

Here's a tip -- if your flight is leaving late the last day, you can still enjoy the beach. Holua Resort will provide you with towels, shampoo and soap and you can shower off in their pretty-decent gym. So you can still snorkel to your heart's content (there's a famous snorkelling place just down the street on Alii). This is... more
