Kona Village is hands down my favorite place in the world, but mind Kona is not for everyone. I am fourteen years old and I have a 22 year old brother. My family have been going since my brother was 1. Living in LA, most of my friends stay at the four seasons right next door. They have no idea... more

Kona Village Resort is a very special place. Yes, it is dated and Yes it is expensive. No, we are not one of the many returning visitors to this resort. But - part of me wants to be because there is something truly special about this place and the fact that it isn't your standard resort with synthetically manicured lawns... more

Just returned from our fifth stay and each stay has been fantastic. The service is amazing, I guess it helps when you work at a place that constantly takes your breath away. The location is really indescribable, just beautiful. The food is wonderful and abundant. And you just can't put a price on being unplugged and away from it all... more

Just got back from Hawaii. Kona Village was absolutely perfect! I admit I was little worried about the lack of air conditioning since the temp was 87 (and I am definately a city girl who requires AC), but the bellman brought us extra fans and we were fine with the ocean breeze. We swam, we snorkled, we lounged in hammocks,... more

My husband and I stayed here the first week of May and I know we will never have a better vacation than this one. The experience was a once in a lifetime trip and I don't think it could ever be topped. We had never snorkeled before and we did it everyday! The feeling of serenity throughout the entire resort... more

I usually do not post glowing reviews, having traveled throughout the world, as many of the travelers on the site. I have visited most continents and stayed at more hotels that I care to remember, including exclusive, chic, and luxury hotels. With that, I have never been to a resort or hotel that I would want to revisit, until I... more

A little late but here it is. My wife and I came back to Kona Village to celebrate her 50th birthday. It had been 20 years since our last time there and the ownership had changed twice since then. We had booked a deluxe level room but were not happy with it so we went back to check-in and after... more

Kona Village is the perfect vacation! I was married there, had my vows renewed on our 10th anniversary and have been going there over 25 years. If you offered me a trip anywhere in the world that is where I would go. The ambiance is fabulous.. no high rise hotel feeling. You know you are on a tropical Island. The... more
