Loved our condo at Kona by the Sea. My family and I were very pleased with our unit. It was totally remodeled earlier this year. Everything was very clean and fresh. We will definitely come back and stay here!!!! Staying here is better than staying at the Hilton @ Waikoloa (and cheaper also). The employees on site were very helpful... More

I had the opportunity of spending 4-nights at this fabulous property. The condo unit I stayed in was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. It over-looked both the pool and the ocean, and the location was breath-taking. Underground parking under the units makes it easy to transport suitcases to the rooms. The bedroom, kitchen and living rooms were spacious. Sitting on... More

We stayed at the Kona by the sea from June 30-July 4 2007 and it was nice. We did have a one bedroom condo with a pullout couch in the living room on the fourth floor. First the good points. Check-in was great. The people were so nice and willing to help with anything. Since it was our Anniversary and... More

We stayed here in a first-floor 2 bedroom / 2 bath ocean front unit booked through ResortQuest. This is a true ocean-front property and offers lovely views of the ocean although the area is not swimable. This also means that there's usually no crowds or disturbance infront of the condos. We didn't hear any noise from busy Ali Drive. The... More

My husband and I go to Kona every year to celebrate our Spring and Fall birthdays. This year was my turn and we enjoyed every single minute. This was our first stay at the Kona by the Sea and we found the view absolutely spectacular. Even though it was right on Alii Drive (which is very busy but also convenient),... More

A great location and nice facilities. It delivers all that is promised and more: for example, they provide paper towels and detergent, and they will give you a book of "kids eat free" coupons for local restaurants, although I don't think that either is mentioned in their listings. The ocean view is great - although swimming isn't possible at the... More

Stayed here 5 days and loved it. Far from the maddening cruise ship crowd of "downtown" Kona (not on walking distance), so it's quiet and relaxing. 4 of us were in a beautifully-decorated, privately-owned, ocean-front, 2-bedroom condo. Contained every kitchen appliance you could hope for, even a huge dish set with palm tree decorations! --Lots of little special touches. Walked... More

Though we had something of a shaky start with elevator and key card problems, Kona By The Sea, turned out to be a great place to stay - close enough to Kona (quick 10 minute drive) but far enough away to avoid crowds, etc. We were fortunate to get a room upgrade to a two bedroom - which was enormous... This is the 3rd time my husband and I have stayed at Kona By The Sea. We absolutely love it! This time we were in a two-bedroom with another couple and never felt cramped! The grounds and facility are very well maintained. Some of the units haven't been upgraded for awhile, but even still they are well taken care of... More

My husband and I stayed at Kona by the sea for our 5th wedding anniversary. This place was great! The staff was very nice and helpful. The grounds are well kept with a magnificent view of the ocean and the coastline. The were a few bogie boarders out each morning. Although they do not have a swimming beach at that... More
