Spacious room with a magnificent view. Spent hours in the balcony listening to the waves and enjoying the scenery. Beautiful sunset with excellent photo opportunities. Helpful and cheerful staff. This is our second stay at Royal Kona and it is the perfect place for a relaxing vacation.

My wife and I spent 5 days at this resort, June 1-6. The resort is location right on the water. The bar/restaurant is awesome for views of the ocean and sunsets while enjoying a drink or meal. Great place to stay - breakfast on the beach watching the dolphins swim and play in the bay - I mean who could ask for more than that...but wait there is more...a small private beach where the turtles come ashore and the water is clear so you can see the fish swim by...wonderful!

Wonderful view and great location. The building seems a bit older but with reasonable renovation attempts. The stay itself was quite comfortable. The place is kept very clean and well taken care of.
