Good localization! There are markets and restaurants near. There is a very good restaurant inside de building. You can find a good pool in this hotel, and a outdoor area. The seawiew is very good! The are a free parking area in front, and a camper area, with trees and camping area, in the side

This is an 18 room hotel that is literally on the water. The rooms are basic with small kitchenette, no TV, no in room phones, limited parking, but it works for us. The people running it, and the guests are what make it fun. There's a group of friends that gather here called the February Club, some have been cominh... More

My husband and I spent two glorious weeks at the Kona Tiki Hotel. This was my second stay with them. This trip was for our daughter's wedding. If you are looking for a quiet oasis that is quaint, friendly and convenient this is the one for you. The management staff is top notch, friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed sharing... More

This was our second visit to this charming little hotel and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time. Gary and Michelle were great hosts. The pool, grounds and view were awesome. Nice continental breakfast in the morning. It's evident that a lot of return visitors come here. We had a small room, but that's all we needed.... More

My wife and I had 5 wonderful days in this magnificent hotel, it must be one of the best kept secrets in Hawaii. Forget about, commodities like TV, air-conditioning and a fancy gym, that's not whats important in the Kona Tiki Hotel. Its the waves of the pacific, the oceanbreeze and off course the hosts Jan and Mike. The room... More

I'm not sure if it's a secret or not, but this has to be the best value hotel in Kona. Clean rooms, unreal views of the ocean, and especially sunsets. Staff and managers were wonderful, and totally accommodating. The hotel pool is a perfect spot for a cooldown, and the location is easily walking distance to the Kona strip. We... More

This place was amazing, its in the perfect location. On my first morning there I woke up and went down to have breakfast by the pool and while eating I saw a pod of dolphins feeding, it was a sight! Breakfast was good and the rooms are nice, I love that there is no tv in the rooms. The balcony... More

Rooms and hotel are probably quite old, but the location is amazing. Managers are always great, breakfast in the morning by the pool and ocean. Evenings guests blow the conch and light tiki torches. Fun. AND... Definitely a great bargain.

My sister stayed at the KT on her honeymoon 35 years ago. She loved it, but hey.....it required some research to confirm that it was still great. It is and I loved it. Note that for this screaming deal, you don't get AC....so what....the mostly older and relaxed clientele was clearly acclimated to 'tropical time. And the pool is right... More

This is a very comfortable little hotel in a great location. It is a little worse for wear which may not be to the liking of some but functions as intended and in fact is nice friendly place. My only other concern was the fact that the windows to the ocean were not glass, but fiberglass obscuring all vision of... More
