My wife and I first visited Lopud in 1989 we have seen the changes to the island when we first went it was so different from any where else, no traffic no phones and very few visitors now busy in July we now have been 8 times and even though its busy it is a beautiful place to take a... More

small island for a great holliday..great view from a room, excelente breakfast. If you want to visit Dubrovnik you can go for a whole day ( or night) and it is much better than stay in Dubrovnik. If you want to take rest - that is the place.

We were looking for somewhere to relax after a really hectic time at work and this ticked all of the boxes. It was a fantastic location with a hotel that was a perfect balance of luxury and convenience. All of the restaurants locally were great, especially Peggy's. I would have quite happily stayed there another week to just enjoy the... More

Our room was fairly simple but clean, with a comfortable bed, great spacious shower and lovely balcony with views over the pool and to the sea. The pool area was excellent and was not at all crowded when we visited (3 nights at the beginning of June) and there was a little bar serving drinks and a few snacks. There... More

Stunning views, great breakfast and very relaxing. We got the ferry over from dubrovnik port it costs about £5 and we stayed at the lafodia for 5 nights. Would recommend it for both couples and families. The pool has amazing views. There are plenty of restaurants near by. I would suggest organising your own transfer to the hotel as booking... More

We stayed here for a week at the end of the season and were very lucky with mostly hot sunny days. We spent a lot of the time by the pool taking in the amazing views across the bay and enjoying the small infinity pool. Total relaxation with very attentive bar service. I would be concerned that in high season... More

The hotel is situated in the lovely island of Lopud and what I loved about this hotel is that it gave you the best of both worlds. A modern hotel with amenities - with an old village charm and a beach getaway. The design is all very white and sleek and gave you relaxation after exploring the island, with a... More

We stayed 5 nights from the 11th of September, having decided to stay on Lopud to have 5 days of peace and quiet. It exceeded our expectations from the first arrival by via the passenger ferry (a fare of approximately 5 Euro per person each way) to our return trip to Dubrovnik later in the week. we walked to the... This hotel has a beautiful location on an island in the Adriatic, but whoever designed it didn't understand hotels. The door of my room was difficult to open with the magnetic card and it was a very long way down to reception to get another. Even when I did, it was still difficult. To operate the lights you put the... More

Good hotel, great location and once you have got acclimatised to the lack of traffic noise, or any noise...wonderful. Take books or what ever you need to do to think, or create or just relax. Tip: take advice from the waiters on how the Scarlett restraint works.
