I stayed at the Deskovic Palace Hotel for one night on a Backroads Bike Tour in July. The hotel itself is a beautiful old converted palace and had a lot of character. The room was on the top floor and was nice and spacious with a large bathroom and a small window. There are no elevators in this hotel. The... More

We stayed here with our biking tour group in May and I thought it was quite charming. The rooms were large and decorated uniquely. The town is also very charming and small. We had cocktails in the back garden before dinner, which was quite lovely. People complain about the church bells ringing but they did not wake me up when... More

We stayed here with our tour group in May. The hotel is lovely and our room was quite spacious. The town is very quaint and quiet. However, the church bells ring at random times day and night, so it certainly wasn't the most restful night of sleep. We had dinner at the hotel...it was buffet style and given the excellent... We ate in the hotel restaurant, had a tour of the hotel and garden but didn't stay. The accommodations were fine, but expensive. Dinner was outstanding, beautiful hall, excellent service (we 4 were the only diners), amazing meals and wine. If you are willing to spend 250 kuna per person, don't miss this experience.

A charming town, quiet and untouristed (of course there are tourists, but it feels like an undiscovered town). The inn is lovely, elegant but also simple. The back garden was a perfect place to dine. We enjoyed their many homemade aperitif selections.

I stayed in the Deskovic Palace on a bike trip last year. The service was terrific, the food was the best i experienced on the Dalmatian islands, but the real star was Pucisca. At 12:00am, all the children, their parents, and the Priests came out for a soccer match; the restaurants were all serving aperitifs and it was magical. The... More

Run by a Countess whose family has owned the property forever, this is a quiet, charming inn, situated nicely in a picturesque village on the water. There's a beach a few steps away. The food at the Hotel was very tasty. Only complaint: the air conditioning seemed to blow strongly, but the high footboard on the bed effectively blocked it,... More

I have no idea why anyone would stay anywhere but Pucisca and at the Deskovic Palace while on Brac. This is a gem of a town and not overun by tourists. The little hotel is a renovated palace and is adjacent to the sea. The rooms have every comfort. There is a beautiful garden behind the hotel with shade. All... More
