After reading some positive reviews on hotel.com we decided to stop at this motel. We were not looking for a resort, just a decent place to spend the night. We were pleasantly surprised by the updated decor, laminate flooring and cleanliness of our room. Plus the room size was large! For $50 a night we couldn't have asked for a... More

I'm a fan of motel 6 and I generally have good experiences there. Over the Thanksgiving weekend I spent two nights at their Newport Beach location and two nights at the Twentynine Palms location. The Newport Beach hotel was the best Motel 6 rooms I've ever stayed in. The 29 palms was one of the worst. The basic run down... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night. We liked the new look of the Motel 6. Glad to see the carpeting ripped out. Also like their a la carte fees. The room was clean. Only complaint was that the air conditioner was quite loud. The front desk gal was nice and helpful. Would stay here again.

a small room with a bed, a TV, a side table and a small bathroom. Great for a one night stay but I wouldn't be raving about it or extending my stay. Was a little peeved when we had to pay for the wifi (only $2) but they really can't give you free wifi??

Location was okay but there was renovation going on on the groundfloor until after 8 pm. Not funny when you arrive tired from your trip. The room was smelly with obviously stained carpet. Very basic, old tv, no amenities whatsoever. Yes there was a small pool by the side of the road. And laundry and an icemachine but it felt... More

I was admittedly skeptical about staying at a Motel 6, however this one exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly, helpful, and cheery every time I interacted with them. I found the room to be basic, but clean, quiet, and functional. The location was perfect for exploring Joshua Tree and wouldn't be too bad for visiting the Marine Corps Base,... More

I was passing through and wanted somewhere cheapish to lay my head for the night and that's what I got. It's nothing special but half the price of the Holiday Inn over the road, which probably also would have had somewhere to lay my head. The room wasn't opulent and to be honest was a little bare and tatty but... More

I visited this hotel 2 times: in 2012 and 2014. It is a well maintained Motel 6. Basically you just go there to have a n inexpensive clean room. Nothing fancy, just a bed and bathroom. Hotel pas cher et parfait pour visiter le parc national. La chambre n'a rien de special, un lit et une salle de bain. L'ensemble... More

Good location with only a short drive to the parks visitor center. Nice basic room with all the necessities. Wifi works ok, and we got it complimentary. Remember to ask for a non-smoking room – we got a smoking room and we were too tired to ask for another room – that’ll never happen again. The receptionists were kind a... More
