We picked this hotel solely because it looked like a unique place to stay, and we were so happy with our choice! The hotel, the grounds, and most importantly the room are extremely well-maintained, and has great appeal. We stayed in Apache Plume, and loved it! What a great experience to be in a vintage adobe house. We unfortunately got... More

We simply loved this place and cant wait to go back next year. We went here because we wanted a nice quiet place out in the desert to watch the Perseids Meteor Shower. You dont get a room, you get one of about 20 old rustic cabins to yourself. We got the Fault Line Cabin. It was rustic on the... More

We really loved this place, the quality of food is high (Italians are careful about that :)), the portions are large, the place is pleaseant, and the atmosphere relaxed (and the prices are right too). I recommend it to everybody!

We only stayed here for one night, but would love to return. We arrived earlier than expected, but our room, Old Frame 1 & 2 was ready for us. Very clean, spacious and comfortable. Lovely decking area outside, overlooking the pond. The grounds of the hotel are worth exploring too, as is the history of the place. We spent time... More

The Hotel is very close to the North Entrance of Joshua Tree National Park, but you still have to drive by car. We had a wood frame cabin, "Old Frame 1 & 2". It is a cabin with 2 entrances an 2 seperate rooms, which are connected by one bathroom. Outside the cabin is a veranda/porch which ends at a... More

This was an experience in itself and I found it difficult to leave to check out the park, which was my original reason for visiting. I enjoyed relaxing on the grounds, the morning yoga and didn't get a chance to enjoy the inviting pool. Service was excellent. Room unique and overall atmosphere relaxing. My only complaint is they allow dogs.... More

The inn is an old establishments, a family business for 3 generations. Stepping into "the library" check-in area or the rooms is like a time-travel to the 50s and 60s. A real oasis with a spring, a pond full of birds and palms, a tiny pool and a big grass yard. On the down side, I must mention that: my... More

My wife and I stayed here for one night on our honeymoon in June. It is a great base for anyone, like us, wanting to explore Joshua Tree National Park. We checked in late and the staff were very accommodating with our request to do so. The stars in the sky when we checked in were brighter than I have... More

We stayed here for a night on a recent road trip around California and it was one of the highlights of the whole holiday. The landscape is just amazing and the Inn itself was unlike anywhere we've ever stayed. Very relaxed. The accommodation was great (we stayed in the 'Golden Bush' bungalow) and the restaurant was lovely. Great service and... More

We recently stayed for 3 nights at the inn, and it was such a great experience. It is hard to know where to start in describing this unique property. We stayed in one of the adobe duplexes, and it was perfect for us. It is rustic, but it was clean and convenient to the pool, drinks, and dining. The inn... More
