This motel has a lot of retro style, and the proprietor Maggie couldn't be any nicer. She made helpful suggestions about things to do besides the Park, and even qualified them by saying, "I'm not trying to order your life, just thought you might like to know." The (small) room was clean and bright at a rate just $15 more... More

My wife and I had planned to visit 29 Palms for an event that was important to us. We booked a room at this motel 2 months in advance. On our drive out, we called to confirm with the Maggie, since it was about 8:00. We told her we should be there "in about 30 minutes" but that we would... More

We arrived in the Motel 29 Palms after a long travel. We spent there just one night. The location is super sweet but old. The lady who is doing the Motel by herself is super nice and super friendly and the rooms are clean. The beds are comfortable. You have a pool, a nice smoking area, free WiFi and Parking.... More

My husband and I planned to go camping in Joshua Tree NP for the weekend but a delayed start and ton of traffic caused us to arrive very late the the area. Exiting the dark park, unable to locate the campgrounds in the dark night, we found the town of Twenty Nine Palms and this little motel. The location really... More

the lady who owns the Motel was very friendly & helpful (speaks english & french). our room was clean, nice and the pool was cold - all you need. no breakfast. also very nice: the entrance for joshua tree is only 2 miles away! only negative point is, that it was noisy at night because of the bar on the... Your parents probably stayed here back in the 50's. The lady owner keeps it nice and tidy inside and out. It is very close to the east entrance to Joshua Tree NP, The town will have everything you need to restock for the rest of your journey. Reasonable rates, comfortable beds, and well kept.

I went to this motel by accident and stayed longer than expected, the rooms were clean, the lady who runs it could not have been any nicer, and the pool any more inviting. What really made a difference is that it is a mile away from the great Joshua tree national park! I will come back for all the aforementioned... More
