Simply great! The reception was very warm and we immediately felt welcome. The atmosfere was pure romantic and we got a lovely breakfast. The town is very small, but you can easily walk along the beach to Nieuwpoort where there is a lot more to do (restaurants). You can take the 'kusttram' on your way back.

Els gave this place a very special, personal ambiance. It is cozy, very clean and has a lot of tasteful details to give it a certain character. Els has really turned this place into something special. One would not expect this kind of retro-B&B in a holiday-town like ODK. the rooms are decorated old Parisian-style, whilst the bathroom is a creative mixture of old and modern. the breakfast in the garden is absolutely fantastic and is tailor-made to your personal wishes. we had 15 wonderful days and... Decor romantic possibly but there is nothing romantic about about the lavatory behind a screen in the corner of the room, an "En Suite " to far that I would have liked mentioned in previous reviews. Maybe it, 's just me and this is normal in Belgium but as a trip advisor I'm mentioning it know to warn other Brits!

We stayed here last weekend (2 nights). There are 3 rooms, each named after one of the 3 daughters of the owner, who lives next door. She has done a marvelous job at creating a romantic athmosphere of a century ago. If you do not like pink/purple or black, do not go! Ditto for "David Hamilton" like nude pictures of... More
