The hotel is very well located for the ski and the panoramic room was really giving excellent view over the surrounding area, the room was very large, although the hotel is relatively old but it's well maintained with nice reception staff and excellent breakfast.

Stinking rooms, 40 year old furnitures, shower that changes temperature from cold to hot as you use it, pool with cold water, no towels, no service and no functioning showers, the kind of spa that children cannot enter. Old empty Bar which opens only at night with only Austrian wines. Dinner with only two choices of main course and one... More

already when you arrive at the Hotel you can feel the Flair of the Emperor's times. the building itself is majestetic. when you walk up the stairs towards the Lobby you already feel Special. Staff at reception is incredibly friendly and even if there are People waiting they are are really Patient. The same goes for the Restaurant staff -... More

Set in the ski resort of Semmering in the "good air" of the mountains near Vienna, this hotel overlooks on of the major ski runs. At the time of my visit in September there was no snow but the "The Magic Mountain" is clearly visible form the hotel which is set high up on the slops on the opposite side... More

I stayed over a weekend back in 2008 with my wife and my 1 year old son. The rooms are very big and comfortable and the bathroom is usually at the end of a long hallway. Being an old historic hotel the furniture is old but in good shape. The bed matrasses are very comfortable as well. We had to... More

The Panhans is a gracious hotel from a bygone era. If it's good enough for Habsburgs it's good enough for me. It is set above a panoramic valley and is extremely peaceful and quiet (in Summer). Our room was huge. We enjoyed dinner with 4 great courses. Char grilled with peach and celery saute was superb as was the best... More

I stayed last week at this hotel for business trip, and remained things in my mind are as follows; -Large and comfortable rooms that have an amazing mountain view, -Great breakfast, -Swimming pool, spa center,(closed at 20:00) I can imagine how great it might be in winter season.

Visited accidentally because of overbooking in Austria caused by Fridays holiday :) and 3 days weekend. Eventhough it was "emergency" solution, it was not any fail despite many inconsistent evaluations. Simple, if you need enough spacious rooms with fair equipment and fair price, it is good choice, for example in comparing Alpenhof Hotel in the same location. To achieve most... More

We stayed here for one night during the summer. The location is up on a hillside and if you arrive as we did by train it is a VERY steep hill to get up here even if there is a walking path. Also the signs were not fully correct so we ended up walking a bit in the wrong direction... More
