I stayed here when it was the Tenne and last time I was in Soll it was partly in ruins so I was surprised the hotel had not been renovated; it was the old Tenne. The decoration is clean but dated. The place was nearly empty so we got large double rooms with a great balcony instead of small singles.... More

my fella and I stayed @ Hotel Rubin and were thoroughly pleased with pretty much everything. As far as we could find when booking our holiday - this was the cheapest option which is what a university student and his girlfriend are after, we were happy to slum it a little for a week on the slopes. but 'slum' is... Brief Review: Rooms are quite small and basic but clean and comfortable (cleaned daily) and not too noisy at all, as suggested in other reviews, but I suppose it depends which room you stay in. Food was lovely, two choices per night (3 courses), did not have 1 bad meal, delicious! Breakfast was cereals, fruit, breads with a selection of... More

Wes, hotel manager is fab. He's lovely, friendly and welcoming and went out of his way to help in any way he could - nothing was too much trouble for him, fantastic asset to hotel! Was great having bacon & eggs for breakfast & evening meals were fab - 10 out of 10 to chef. Only downside was noise from... More

We had a fantastic time at Rubin last week! Wes and all the staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location was very convenient - only 5 mins walk to the equipment store & garage and then a 1 min bus ride to the gondola station (because no one wants to walk in ski boots...). It's also... More

One of the best weeks of my life. Fantastic friends and made even better by the amazing staff at the hotel and bars. Made to feel very welcome. Reading reviews from other guest I can only disagree with a certain few terrible reviews. The so called power hungry restraunt manager who put up with so much from one of our... More

Stayed here on 1/3//14 for a week with a party if 10 friends, the staff at the hotel and bars downstairs are fantastic, especially Wes, rooms are a tad small but more than adequate for a ski holiday, food is good, breakfast is excellent but tbh I've been to Austria on several holidays and I've never had a bad meal... Just returned from the Rubin after a week of skiing with 6 friends. The location is great and the welcome is outstanding. Thanks Wes, Kerry and all the guys who help this place run smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble - every request met with a smile. True professionals and so friendly. The food was surprisingly good, we ate everything... More

Soll is a great place to ski...such a large area of pistes to enjoy. The Hotel Rubin is very convenient...only a 5 minute walk to the nursery slopes and either a 1 minute bus ride or 5 minute walk from there to the gondola. The Hotel is your average Austrian pension...fairly small rooms (though I've definitely stayed in smaller!) and... More
