Just returned from a week at the Waldrand. Owners George and Ingrid very friendly and helpful, Carlo the dog more interested in sleeping on the rug in reception. Room was large with good shower and plenty of hot water although furnishings a little tired. The fact we have returned to the waldrand tells you we have had no problems, George and Ingrid, (and Carlos the dog) have always been very hospitable, even late in the season when you can see they are totally exhausted and looking forward to a good rest. Returned yesterday from a week staying at the Waldrand Hotel in Scheffau. I cannot fault this hotel at all, the food was excellent and there was loads of it. Family run, very friendly hotel. Rooms small and clean but adequate as you are skiing all of the time. Food excellent, really tasty and it has an excellent vegetarian option. Rooms clean & comfortable. Limited storage space only one wardrobe.
