We stayed here a few years back and it was fine. The room was nice and it's restaurant was fine but waiter was a bit harassed at all times but he did have a lot to deal with by himself. As seems to be quite the norm, we were all inclusive so the food was ok. The owners however seemed... More

Having read recent reviews on trip advisor we were a little worried about our ski trip however our worries were unfounded. Gastof Mauth is a typical Austrian hotel in both food and service. Our rooms were warm, clean and comfortable with good storage and for first time in several trips to Austria we had BBC world on TV. Wi fi... More

Having stayed at the Gasthof Mauth twice before we decided to return for a skiing trip. Previously they had really looked after my wife, with her gluten intolerance, especially the time when they'd run out of gf bread, the owner sent her husband to the supermarket to get some for her breakfast. First class service. This time amazingly they'd improved,... More

Poor English resulted in a communication breakdown. Reception staff Gave me the wrong quote for a room and gave me a massive room bill at check out which I had no choice but to pay. It just ruined my whole experience. So be careful

We stayed at the hotel over the Christmas period and felt that it served the purpose of a room to go back to after a day's skiing but there were no other benefits to staying there. The location of the hotel is good, in the town square and about ten minutes walk to the ski lifts and ski schools. Beware... More

Nice clean, well lit and modern single room with all you need, but a bath would have been even better. Good to have free pass for nearby town swimming pool which is excellent after a day's skiing, especially if you have no bath. No major complaints but food is pretty ordinary Austrian fare and quite plainly presented, often over salty... More

Four of us stayed here on a skiing holiday; two adults and two children. The first thing you notice is that the property is spotless and the interior is beautifully crafted and has an authentic charm. Our bedroom comprised a very large room and a separate ante-room which was also quite big and had two beds where our children slept.... More

As a single traveller you are always a little unsure on arrival at a hotel, however the welcome i received when checking in put me at ease at once. All very quick and straight forward form filling was followed by the owner showing me to my room and helping with my luggage, although a single room it was plenty big... More
