We chanced upon this hotel one evening while out walking, and were instantly impressed - there were lovely pieces of furniture, family photos, and an intimate and classy feel about the place. We decided it would be just the place to stay on our next visit to St Johann. There was nobody on the reception desk, or indeed any members... More

I stayed just one night last week. The staff were welcoming and helpful. I had dinner and breakfast , both very good. As I was going to be leaving for the airport at 17.00 I asked if I could extend my stay, fully expecting to pay for the extra hours, or even to pay for an extra night. It was "no... More

Recently home from a wonderful holiday in Austria. The hotel is family run and nothing is too much trouble. I found that all the staff were very friendly and efficient. I have to have a gluten free diet and the staff went out of their way to ensure that wasn't a problem. Lovely setting within walking distance of the town.

Just had a wonderful holiday with the One Traveller holiday company and they used this amazing hotel. Family owned, third generation, is was superb, rooms absolutely lovely and very 'Austrian' in furnishings and comfort. Food very good and all the staff could not have been more accommodating. Just by the river, the town about 10 minutes away up hill but... More

We booked 4 nights in this hotel via Wintertrex. It was a splendid deal. The food is excellent. You have a 5 course meal every evening and you can choose between 3 options. Wine selection is great. The breakfast is also very very good. Eggs, bacon, cerealsn different kinds of bread, jam, cheeses and ham. There is enough choice. Only... More

We are currently staying in this hotel and we must say, it is fantastic, the food is five star quality and the staff are tremendous. I have stayed in many five star hotels throughout the world and whilst the rooms here are a little dated, this is one of the best experiences. The Denley's

Our family (39, 35, 6, 2) stayed at Brueckenwirt during the pre-Christmas week. We go to Austria every winter for skiing and have usually always been very satisfied, but this is the first time when we felt we have to also write about it given how excellent our visit was. Location, hotel and rooms: very centrally situated hotel, just 7... More
